I work right up the street at Marshalls and come to this Tropical Smoothie almost every week for lunch—specifically for their açaí bowl with peanut butter drizzle. Let me just say: this location never disappoints.

The bananas are always fresh, the strawberries are perfectly sliced, and they never skimp on the peanut butter drizzle. I’ve been to other locations that gave me brown bananas or barely any toppings, but not here. Whoever’s working in that kitchen deserves serious props because the quality is consistent and amazing every single time.

I genuinely look forward to this part of my workday. Shoutout to the incredible team here—you all are crushing it!“

“This used to be my favorite. I came in last Friday bought a 32 oz smoothie. I do love the smoothies and chocolate covered almonds. They no longer have styrofoam cups which is a great disappointment. B4 you even get 20 mins away anything is melted in those plastic cups. I even tried to refreeze it like I always do. But it was mostly sweet juice by the time I got home. Which means I wasted my money. I need a cup that works please smoothie king! I still recommend because this bothers me and may not bother others.“

“Their drinks are always so good, no matter what I get. I'm a fan of bubble tea, so I have tried many of the local places, and Chatime is hands-down the best! The store owners are SO friendly and really care about the community. The food they serve all come from local small businesses, so the quality is top notch! The egg custard, red bean, and pork buns are my favorites! 😋 For drinks, the strawberry au lait, tiramisu milk tea, and mango tea with mousse are my go to!“

“First time customer. I see alot of post about this place so I decided to try it for myself. I went to the Owings Mills location today and the young lady working was so friendly and helpful. Her Customer Service was excellent and she was very knowledgeable. She informed me of the most popular juices & smoothies and even let me taste a few. The juice was very delicious, you couldn't tell that it's supposed to be healthy. I ended up getting the Get Money Smoothie which was very good also. I only came in for a smoothie but ended up purchasing some juices also. I definitely will be back.“

“Update: I went in this morning to speak with a manager and while the manager was busy, the young man at the register, David was able to address the situation. He apologized and made me the smoothie I'd ordered from last night. I appreciated the professionalism and this time my wait was less than 10 minutes. Since this was the first time at this location and they were accommodating to undo the mistake, my husband and I WILL be back again as we love smoothie king!

This location is short staffed and if you order online they just mark you order complete but never make the order. I placed an order through the app and my husband went to pick it up on his way home. There was only 1 lady working.
My husband got there at 9pm, but I ordered through the app as I wanted specific substitues that I didnt want him to inadvertantly mess up. I placed the order at 901pm and at 919pm (while my husband was waiting) the order was marked completed. After 20 minutes my husband asked when my order would come up and the lady said she never recieved the order. She told him we could just cancel the order and place it with her in person, but the app wasnt offering that option as it was already marked completed. On top of that she wasn't willing to simply make the order since it was an error on their end. This was our first time at this location and we were excited about there being a smoothie king closer to our home but we will not be returning!! Between waiting for the order, the lady looking through the system and my husband showing the lady my online receipt several times, he spent almost 40 MINUTES IN A SMOOTHIE CARRYOUT!! Essentially smoothie king stole $11.64 from me with no apology or solutions offered and wasted 40 minutes of our time!!!“

I was greeted by a very nice young lady who answered all my questions as well as provided free samples. I ordered the Nica Bowl and Hubby ordered the Tide Bowl. I enjoyed checking out the visuals in this place while waiting. The menu is conveniently located on the wall by register w options galore and descriptions. Plenty of substitutions and add ins. Pineapple decor, 2 picture walls, meal bars for sale, etc. Once our bowls were complete, they came out Yelp, IG picture ready !! The only thing better than their appearance was their taste. We could taste each fresh ingredient that fit perfect w the bowls. 1/3 of the way in, we were full. I forced my bowl down. Hubby brought his home to freeze and eat the next day. No complaints. I signed up for their customer loyalty program and can't wait to revisit. I want to try a Green Bowl and Smoothie. Great event, fantastic service, quality bowls, etc. Job well done Playa Playa !!“

“This was my first visit to a Smoothie King. I was returning from a Doctors visit and it was a hot 91° degree day and I wanted something cold. I decided to give them a try and I am not disappointed. The service was excellent, the portion is very good and the taste is fabulous. They have such a large selection also I ordered the medium size peanut butter & chocolate , I dont think I want to see the large. LOL I highly recommend them to everyone.“

“I came in on a Saturday afternoon and it was a bit busy but it was such a calm and welcoming atmosphere! I was greeted and while waiting and looking around, the employees made sure I was taken care of and asked if I was picking up or waiting long. I ordered an original egg waffle with powdered sugar and a large mini pearl mango smoothie. My order came out promptly and the egg waffle was so warm and rich with flavor! Not too sweet but everything paired so well! The tables and counters were very clean and I could tell this Gong Cha is very well taken care of compared to other Gong Cha’s. Even when the customers died down, I could see how hard the employees were working to make sure everything ran smoothly. Such a beautiful gong cha inside and out with beautiful music and a wonderful atmosphere! I can’t recommend this place enough!“

“I got an espresso machine for christmas and it takes very specific beans. I was asking Kira about which bean would be best, and they were so helpful. They called the boss and got all the info I needed. I told them I didn’t want to be any trouble, but they insisted and were so accommodating.

This new location was very neat & clean, the employees were polite, I asked for some extra drizzle on top of my bowl and was granted it with no hesitation. You get to watch them make it and they also make fresh & sell Auntie Anne’s products as well.

I moved to the Federal Hill/Locust Point area about a year ago, but never visited because it’s listed on Google as not being wheelchair accessible. I use a wheelchair and this location actually is wheelchair accessible. There’s no barriers getting into the door or the area to order. The only area that doesn’t seem accessible is the upstairs part where extra seating is. They should probably fix this on Google.“

Parking: Parking is a typical Maryland parking lot. The spaces are too small for anything larger than a compact car/hybrid. Enjoy squeezing your way out of any family-size vehicle.“
