“Easily located off of a highway (I-83 MD exit 16) that I travel frequently yet I never had been there in all these years. An attractive small shop with a tiny cafe seating area for an order/pickup window. I got the BALT which might have been called a VALT as the other review described it. I think I could get addicted to the tempeh bacon as this was prepared. I also purchased several pre-packaged prepared foods to go. Prices appeared reasonable to me for the quality. It's definitely going to be a new stop for me when I travel the highway past there during open hours, as the cafe is open every day of the week. Updated from previous review on 2024-06-22“

The store owners are SO friendly and really care about the community. The food they serve all come from local small businesses, so the quality is top notch! And let me tell you, the Seniors LOVE Bike Powered Smoothies! I mean, they love it! They are one of the main highlights of our event. They are able to get in some exercise while creating their own smoothie to enjoy afterwards! What a way to get the Seniors active and involved. And the Staff of Bike Powered Smoothies are fantastic! “First time customer. I see alot of post about this place so I decided to try it for myself. I went to the Owings Mills location today and the young lady working was so friendly and helpful. Her Customer Service was excellent and she was very knowledgeable. She informed me of the most popular juices & smoothies and even let me taste a few. The juice was very delicious, you couldn't tell that it's supposed to be healthy. I ended up getting the Get Money Smoothie which was very good also. I only came in for a smoothie but ended up purchasing some juices also. I definitely will be back.“

“In my best Kat Williams voice "Playa Playa" !! From beginning to end, excellent experience. I love the fact that you can choose from 2 doors to enter as well as safe free parking lot options. I was greeted by a very nice young lady who answered all my questions as well as provided free samples. I ordered the Nica Bowl and Hubby ordered the Tide Bowl. I enjoyed checking out the visuals in this place while waiting. The menu is conveniently located on the wall by register w options galore and descriptions. Plenty of substitutions and add ins. Pineapple decor, 2 picture walls, meal bars for sale, etc. Once our bowls were complete, they came out Yelp, IG picture ready !! The only thing better than their appearance was their taste. We could taste each fresh ingredient that fit perfect w the bowls. 1/3 of the way in, we were full. I forced my bowl down. Hubby brought his home to freeze and eat the next day. No complaints. I signed up for their customer loyalty program and can't wait to revisit. I want to try a Green Bowl and Smoothie. Great event, fantastic service, quality bowls, etc. Job well done Playa Playa !!“

“I have been to several Auntie Annie’s & Jamba but this location ROCK IT with their excellent service I asked for xtra salt and butter to my pretzel nuggets and he responded with a smile and a happy response of yes The store was clean but what made me want to add a review out of my busy day was the freshness of the food He said 4-5 min wait (which was on point) and the wait was worth it because the food was fresh, tasty and just the perfect crisp to each bite The other stores I been to was Eastpoint (they was ok but food was too doughy tasting and wasn’t as fresh and Owingsmills and their food was hit and miss some days taste was better than other days Todays location at 11221 York rd I give ALL 5 STARS it aloud me to give“

October 2024 Update : Food still very good but one of my past favorites (lentil burger) isn't as good as it use to be. The last half dozen times I've gotten them, they are over fried. If day slightly burnt. At the same time, the vegan crab cakes have improved! They're less salty but still delicious. Just right. The live kale is still clutch and so is the mac and cheese. Unfortunately, portion sizes for sides have gotten noticeably smaller. Did I mention how crazy the yams are???“
