I get to Catonsville once a month and never miss the chance to stop at Scittino's. Everything they make is delicious but my favourite treats are their Reuben sandwich and fabulous Italian cookies. Their store is chock full of Italian food and packaged goods.

Ordered pizza at 4:40 and was told an hour wait. Showed up at 6:00 and they said they were still working on 4:00 orders. This is not the first time they’ve been completely unprepared for a busy night. Even on a regular weekday I usually have to wait at least an hour for a simple order.

Simply the best pizza anywhere. Once you try anything on the menu...you'll be completely sold. It'll be hard to find a more friendly, family oriented, small deli and restaurant.

Great neighborhood market. Often stop in for shrimp, MD crabmeat, steaks, deli meat, and homemade italain sausages. Very quick and friendly service and food is always great. The pizza/sun shop has great food too. We often get delivery from that side.

I’ve been to Scittinos probably about a hundred times in my life (against my will) here’s what I have to say:

The pizza is revolting. The crust has the texture and taste of a damp piece of cardboard. They use don pepino’s sauce (an automatic red flag) and their cheese blend is just okay. Overall, the pizza is a floppy, greasy mess reminding you more of Deepwater Horizon than the flavors of Naples.

Cold cuts are also drowned in oil. The taste is good but idk if they don’t toast their bread or what. They definitely don’t drain the meat in their cheese steaks.

Their cannoli are always soggy. It’s like they purposefully let them sit before I order them.

If you want good Italian food, don’t go here.

Super cute little store and take out. The New York pies are so good. The crust and sauce have great flavor. The Italian Cold Cut is one of the best in the area! The bread is perfect and the portion size of meat to veggie ratio is on point. The cutlet sandwich was disappointing because the bread was soggy by the time we got home, but I’ll ask for the artisan bread next time. Also, parking is a little difficult during their busy times. I would highly recommend, and will definitely be back!

Ver salty, and very oily. I don’t know how it has 5 stars. Could not even finish one slice. Big flop, sauce, is very salty. The whole box is soaked with oil. Very disappointing.

We’ve enjoyed everything we’ve gotten here. It’s a little pricey, in our opinion, but their quality and service keep us coming back.

This is an American deli pretending to be Italian. Don’t be fooled. Most of the groceries available can be either be found at a regular grocery store (for example their pasta selection was mostly dececco. Widely available everywhere). The other items are tourist trap Italian items no real Italian would buy.

The meat selection was also mostly regularly available everywhere. But they had a few nice Italian staples, so I was a fan. I will also say they had some unique Italian cheeses which I really liked. Please lean more into that.

The restaurant part sells regular pizza place food. The pizza dough (which they sell separate) was mediocre, so I assume their pizza is okay. The sandwiches with Italian style meats looked good though.

Please revamp the available groceries to better align with Italian products. Better advertising of (I presume rotating) cheese selection would help. And a wine selection would also be nice. I would still come here to get the deli meats and cheeses but would really love if better products are imported. Stuff like unique pastas (high quality ones) would make me happy
