Spent 25$ on a crab cake with fries and waited only 10 min. Food wasn’t fresh at all. Fries were old and crab cake was all shell. Don’t come here !

I arrived approx 1pm, and was sat at a table by the window right away, no wait time.My server was Tammy. She was so nice, down to earth, and professional. Since I knew what I wanted to eat prior to getting there, when she took my drink order, I also gave her my lunch order. What was really good was she was able to input my order on a handheld device which made for speedy turn around time from ordering to getting my drinks/ food brought to the table.I ordered two appetizers for lunch.1. Rockfish bites2. Crab cake egg rollsEverything was so delicious. Food was hot and fresh. The sauce served with both appetizers was also really delicious. This is my second time eating from this restaurant and they did not disappoint!! 10/10 recommend!!Tammy checked in with me multiple times while eating to make sure I was okay. She made friendly small talk with me, but also took the time to give me a little history on this restaurant and the one across the street El Guapos that is also owned by the same owners of State Fare. She told me about the arcade they own too. She was one of the best servers I’ve had on a very long time and I couldn’t be more impressed and satisfied with my lunch choice!!I will be telling friends and family about this spot. Thanks State Fare, thank you Tammy! She deserves all the praise for making my lunch just that much better.-Jamie T.

Brussels were tasty along with the shrimp & grits. The Rockfish bites were too small of a portion and overpriced. Overall good service.

Very nice atmosphere. Food is great. Waiter was not as attentive as he should have been. Putting a 20% tip on someone's bill is forcing you to pay a gratuity that might not be deserved and now if you gave good service people won't give more

Even though I wished their Happy Hours were longer, the food and service is always on point. State Fare is one of my favorites ☺️

DisappointedI wanted to return here to celebrate my birthday. Was told on the phone a week before my birthday, that they didn’t take reservations only to find out they did when I got to the restaurant. When I got to the restaurant, they couldn’t accommodate my party size and offered us to sit in the tent in February. The tent had big holes and tears in it, and they didn’t offer heating lamps because they were out of propane. They advised us to go to El Guapo who could accommodate my party size. No one apologized for the misinformation on reservations, or even thinking it was OK for us to sit outside in the cold for brunch in February.
