Big Boy Tacos

I’m a big fan of street tacos, especially birria tacos, but only when they’re done right. Unfortunately, my visit to Big Boy Tacos fell short of expectations. While the tacos were well-prepared, they lacked the robust flavor and seasoning I was hoping for. The birria sauce was bland and watery, missing that deep red color and richness typical of authentic birria.

The beef itself was tender, and the fresh onions and cilantro added a nice touch. However, the tacos were under-cheesed, and without the right amount of cheese, they felt incomplete. The overall experience was underwhelming due to the lack of seasoning in both the birria and the tacos. With just a bit more attention to flavor and authenticity, these tacos could truly stand out.

Been trying to make it here for a minute. Absolutely love the tender beef and the consume. Fast service. Friendly. Fair prices. I wish the brick and mortar had seating to eat there. However, even taking it home it was just as good and hot. I'll definitely go back. My #1 go to spot. Best Birria Tacos!

Food is amazing. I go often. I just plead and beg you get rid of the paper cups you give out to transport your wonderful Birra in. They literally disintegrate and so does the paper bag we transport them in which then causes it to break and leak out all over the car.

The food was amazing and the prices are reasonable.

Big Boys Tacos has the perfect birria and creative yet thoughtful items on the menu! I always have a great experience with the people taking my order and how nice they are. The cooks really make everything right in the back. They also have deserts, drinks, kids meals, and more! The price can vary depending on what you want.

We got tacos off of their food truck at the La Plata Farmers Market for the first time. They were so patient and kind and the food was absolutely delicious! I can’t wait to try their brick and mortar location ♥️

I had Big Boi tacos for the first time at Ridge VFD. That was some of the best food I've had in Southern Maryland ever. Would visit again 100%. Great food.
