Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

Of all my 46 years of living and after moving through several states and towns in Maryland, this is hands down the WORST Popeyes I’ve ever been to. The food is never hot or fresh. Just look at this chicken…I bought it right when they opened today! Why does it look hard, black, dry and OLD!?? You’d think in this area the food would at least come out fresh, and the service would be decent. But it’s not.

This location has had issue after issue. I even had to dispute a charge from here once.Today was the last straw. At this point, I refuse to come back. I’d rather drive out to Waldorf or La Plata before ever stepping foot in the Charlotte Hall Popeyes again.

This is a great Popeyes if you like sitting in the drive through line completely unacknowledged by the restaurant. Been stuck in line unable to get out for 15 minutes now and Noone is apparently working the drive through lane. Horrible service at least pretend to care about your customers.

While attempting to fulfill an order through doordash your management/employee refused to make the order for one of my customers because the order hadn't come through on their printer. I had the order on my phone and when I went to show the person the order they outright refused to make the order costing my income for that order and making my customer very upset.

As a dasher we are equipped with alternatives in order to help various merchants fulfill orders even if their are technical issues in communication between doordash and the merchant.

So for your employees to just refuse to make the order because they didn't have a ticket come through the system is unacceptable and highly unprofessional.

If this continues you will lose money for this location and ruin your reputation to the area in which you serve your customers.

Always clean, always friendly. This was 7 years ago. Now they are still clean and friendly but I'm sure that they are having difficulty finding good help.

went inside to get meals. several employees walked by me at the counter but not one acknowledged I was there. No one even said I’ll be right with you. After several minutes I simply walked out. There’s plenty of other chicken choices to be had in Charlotte Hall.

I went through the drive in. I ordered chicken tenders combo I was driving easier to eat the tenders were cold, the biscuit was hard and cold and the mac&cheese was hard on top and dry.I was very disappointed I didn’t have time to go and get my money back.

Food was alright even though they got part of my order wrong. Was told they were out of Large cups but wasn't offered anything equivalent to Large and when I went back for more to drink a while later they had already dumped it out. I would not recommend ordering later at night. They might not have what you want to order.

This place really plucks my nerves. The girls while working the drive thru are absolutely horrible! Have to repeat what you say 5 times cause they more focused on Lord knows what! And why? Why doesn’t this place ever have the Fish Sandwhich in stock. You’d think mgmt would order enough based on sales history and lost sales due to no stock. Come

I love a good fish sandwich. Even the fish sandwiches they've had at Popeyes before. But, that new flounder sandwich sucks.

The Manager Ronnie was directing the front of the restaurant. Employees were attentive and moving to expedite food to customers. My order was ready when I arrived. We had a large take out order. When we arrived home the food was hot and delicious. Ronnie made personal contact with me asking if I needed anything else. The restaurant was very clean including the restroom.

The chicken sandwich wasn't hot, and there was more skin than chicken. The fries tasted old and weren't hot. The quality of popeyes food has gone down. No longer my favorite chicken.

Have not been here in a couple of years. This was the go to. But after the experience. No. One I ordered online and still had to wait 20 minutes to get it and they didn’t start it until I was there. Two I had to tell the guy the drink was wrong. Three I didn’t have all my fries and had to ask about them. Four I had to tell them I ordered a 12 piece and not a 6 piece. Then they asked me are you sure I said yes and they had to make sure with the manager it was okay to give me a 12 piece after looking at my receipt. Then the tenders are more like chicken nuggets. Probably not coming back to this Popeyes…..

This Popeyes is poorly managed and needs help. Arrived at 830pm with the closing time being 10pm and were told they only had three mild tenders and six boneless bites available. I ordered a chicken sandwich and had to wait 10 minutes to receive it because they had to fry it. At that point it became clear they just didn’t care about being open. The lack of care for fulfilling their sole purpose as a restaurant is sad to see and that starts at the top.
