Great fried oyster when on season. Sweet potato fries the best. Courteous and timely services. Highly recommend.
Server was excellent! Took time to review my allergies and made sure to double check ingredients before taking our order. First time visiting, but will definitely be back soon.
Sunday, June 2, 2025 8:45 am Terrible experience compounded by poor manager! Local resident have enjoyed Traders but not this am when I took my son to breakfast. I ordered eggs montoya I.e. Eggs benedict with fillet mignon in place of ham, well done fillet. When our orders came my fillet was blood red inside called waitress over showed her and she responded that's definitely not well done and took it back. Mean time my son was 3/4 way thru his breakfast when My order came back so much for eatting breakfast together. Upon cutting my breakfast up the WHITE of the poached eggs poured out this was an uncooked egg!!! I pushed the eggs off to side and tried to eat one of the fillets for a $19.00 breakfast menu I was disgusted called a near by server over ( ours was not nearby) and asked for the manager. The manager came over I explained the issues twice having cooked problems with my order and noting my son was now done his breakfast. The manager ssid she would take it off my bill. Long story short When our server came back with bill and manager in tow the manager said, since you ate one fillet I have to charge you for half your breakfast! I said, I ordered eggs benedict not steak and eggs the waitress corrected me (insult to injury) saying you ordered eggs montoya not eggs benedict! REALLY, like I didn't know that? Then manager decided to tell me that the eggs I was served was what a poached egg looks like. Let me set the record straight I work in a culinary school kitchen font tell me the under cooked, possibly non/samanella carrying egg was done correctly. So as not to belabor this ordeal the photos below are only the eggs wish I had the pics of the fillet to add! To the owner of Traders this manager needs to more training in service and checking on her staff and I would suggest the waitress also needs some training. This was definitely not the Traders experience I expected and the owner needs to look into their quality control as well as training of the employees! For the untrained manager poached eggs should be: Correctly prepared Poached Eggs: Poached eggs should be cooked until the WHITE is set and the yolk is THICKENED but still SLIGHTLY runny. Under cooked poached eggs have a runny, whispy, white! Signed, Unhappy local resident with cooking prep background

Love this place!
Wonderful place with a great atmosphere! Food was reasonably priced and excellent.
Good American seafood restaurant
Homemade coleslaw was excellent! My party of 6 ordered prime rib, crab legs, sirloin, fried chicken, cheese steak and fried oysters. Everything we ordered was delicious!
Steamed shrimp had ammonia taste, not cleaned well and were dry, looked like they were put in microwave. Sent them back, the mgr had slight attitude about it. Fried oysters were good, but a little too salty. Onion rings were delicious 😋. My husband had a fried chicken breast sandwich with tater tots, they were
Very good. I didn't feel welcomed in this establishment. We most definitely won't be back.
Food was okay. When it was billing time, my husband asked if they offer military discount. The server was like I will put it only on your order (to my husband) and went away, did not even asked me for my ID. It is a bit strange, and has never happened before anywhere. I felt a little uneasy🤨

Great food great service! Will be back!
Went here for Mothers Day dinner and was somewhat underwhelmed given the positive reviews the establishment has. Service was very slow but it was somewhat busy, so we were okay with that. However, it did take forever to get drink refills and the final bill.
As for the food, everything was caked in butter, the fish had bones still in it and some items had bacon in them even though it was not advertised. The menu could definitely use a refresher.
Overall, we were not wowed or extremely disappointed. Just neutral. Love the area and the water/coastline vibes.
Traders crab dip was top 3 I’ve ever had. Absolutely delicious. The service was wonderful, I forget our servers name as I’ve been meaning to write this review for a few weeks now, but she was so attentive. Samantha I think it was.
For our entree we shared the fried seafood platter which was really good. I can’t wait to go back there and try some of their other dishes!
The food overall is good. The service is decent. You don't have to wait long either.
Steaks are very good!!!!!!!!! Freaking excellent. They overcooked it but it still tasted better than Ruths Chris. I told them and they refunded me even though I told them not to...
Friendly service.
The environment is old town Maryland but that's what makes this place an experience.
