Que got there, waited 15min in line only to be told cash only. They should either have a sign or inform people as they walk in. Actually, it’s 2025 why don’t you take cards?
They say open but doors are locked and no employee…
delicious ice cream sold here! Highly recommend it !
Ice cream was okay but there was a girl that worked there (not sure of her name but she had brown hair with pimple patches on her face while working with food) she had an attitude the whole time she was serving us and made us not even want to get ice cream. she treated us so poorly and not to mention it was my birthday. she was overall just dirty and should not be working there with that terrible attitude. just stood there staring at us like we did something wrong. hire new staff!
Overpriced store bought ice cream (blue bunny) . Doesn’t appear clean enough in there to serve food out of. They have no pricing listed anywhere otherwise people would probably not even consider ordering. Not very accessible or taken care of. Use to be a much better place years ago not sure what happened. Sure it’s an ice cream place on the water so they can name their price. If the quality and service was good it would be worth it. Better off going to real McCoy down the road or sweet cowalines.
Open today 5/17/25, delicious!!!
They never seem to be open and apparently they don't update their hours listed by Google

Vanilla Ice Cream & orange sherbet is fantastic. The view of the Chesapeake & Delaware Canal Bridge is amazing. Relaxing and enjoying the view is a total joy. The exterior of the shoppe is neglected and takes away from the positive vibes.

Was truly surprised by some of the bad reviews., We still tried it. The wife asked for a single scoop and it was more then a single and I went for a sunday. 3 scoops and 3 different ice cream flavors. The price was well within reason of what any ice cream parlor ask for. The ice cream is Blue Bunny and it was very good. My only issue was the young lady was soft spoken and I had trouble hearing her. Other then that, I recommend it for anyone.

The views and vibe in Chesapeake City are amazing. We gladly paid for our delicious ice cream, which was served by Hailee. She was super nice and friendly.
For those of you who flip out over prices, you should go to Friendly's, where there's no view or vibe.
We'll definitely be back a few times a year. We're local.
I didn't buy anything. they serve blue bunny but a $6 for one scoop. I left. Immediately. The place has an odd smell. There were no prices listed anywhere, so I had to ask. Bare bones business. Parking is killer. Good luck. There's other ice cream places not far much cheaper too.
Parking: Terrible.

Fantastic location but I was expecting better ice cream and the amount you get for the money is absolutely RIDICULOUS - over $7 for a cone with "two scoops" that anywhere else would barely be considered one! Not worth it - there are too many other places nearby with greater variety and locally-made products. I won't go back.
The shoppe is very cute and quaint. It looks empty inside, no sweets which is confusing. They have ice cream and sorbet. There is a nice seating area outside by the water.
Very disappointed. I asked for a chocolate milkshake, and the girl working said she wasn't trained to use the machine, she didn't know how to make it. She didn't know much about working there but she knew how to work the register! $14 for two scoops of icecream and a small cup of soft serve.
