Vanilla Ice Cream & orange sherbet is fantastic. The view of the Chesapeake & Delaware Canal Bridge is amazing. Relaxing and enjoying the view is a total joy. The exterior of the shoppe is neglected and takes away from the positive vibes.

Was truly surprised by some of the bad reviews., We still tried it. The wife asked for a single scoop and it was more then a single and I went for a sunday. 3 scoops and 3 different ice cream flavors. The price was well within reason of what any ice cream parlor ask for. The ice cream is Blue Bunny and it was very good. My only issue was the young lady was soft spoken and I had trouble hearing her. Other then that, I recommend it for anyone.

The views and vibe in Chesapeake City are amazing. We gladly paid for our delicious ice cream, which was served by Hailee. She was super nice and friendly.
For those of you who flip out over prices, you should go to Friendly's, where there's no view or vibe.
We'll definitely be back a few times a year. We're local.
I didn't buy anything. they serve blue bunny but a $6 for one scoop. I left. Immediately. The place has an odd smell. There were no prices listed anywhere, so I had to ask. Bare bones business. Parking is killer. Good luck. There's other ice cream places not far much cheaper too.
Parking: Terrible.

Fantastic location but I was expecting better ice cream and the amount you get for the money is absolutely RIDICULOUS - over $7 for a cone with "two scoops" that anywhere else would barely be considered one! Not worth it - there are too many other places nearby with greater variety and locally-made products. I won't go back.
The shoppe is very cute and quaint. It looks empty inside, no sweets which is confusing. They have ice cream and sorbet. There is a nice seating area outside by the water.
Very disappointed. I asked for a chocolate milkshake, and the girl working said she wasn't trained to use the machine, she didn't know how to make it. She didn't know much about working there but she knew how to work the register! $14 for two scoops of icecream and a small cup of soft serve.
Absolutely horrible. I always wanted to try this cute, little creamery on the water and had high hopes. All they serve is Blue bunny and the milkshakes were watery chocolate milk. Extremely overpriced for the quality. Do not waste your money or calories on this place.
We stopped for a scoop but the doors were locked despite the sandwich board stating their hours (they should have been open). As we were walking away, someone approached and passed us going toward the shop (but didn't speak to us). I turned around to look ( just on a hunch?), and I see 2 people open the door and go in. So, the woman who had passed us had probably seen us trying to get in but didn't say anything as she went by. (Or the 2 who went in might have also seen us trying to get in but never called out to us--they were the ones who served us.) So, since it was obviously now open again, we walked the few steps back and each ordered a scoop or salted caramel craze ($7.95). I can't say it was the best ice cream we've ever had (although is there really bad ice cream?) and the portion was certainly not even close to what we've been getting (one scoop that's almost like two). This was a "skimpy" scoop (I know this was really hard and he was having difficulty scooping it out, but...). Clearly, none of the 3 who were in the store when we finally went in are the owners or they would have spoken to us outside the store and told us they were on their way back in and we could come in. I know, it's a lot to expect, but it would have been a nice courtesy. The couple that was working and served us were congenial enough once we were inside. However, I think I'd have to look for a different shop if this were my hometown.

Stopped in because we wanted an out of the way spot for us (From Delaware). For the price $15 including tip we got a very small milkshake, and 2 scoops of ice cream. I had to ask for another scoop, since I only got one small scoop, which I had no issue paying for. BUT, for that price and size I expected better quality ice cream. And the young lady could at least look somewhat content with her job.
Nice area to enjoy the view but dissapointed in the ice cream i had. It tasted like bad milk. When we had to select our ice cream flavor. All of them look like soup. The women who served us only put 1 glove on but handed us our ice cream with the 1 hand without the glove. I felt sick and threw away my ice cream because it tasted bad. I gotten a twist. I should got a hand scoup instead but wasnt much flavor and it look like soup.
Stopped in this past weekend. Ice cream was good. it's a shame the girl behind the counter was so nasty.
The location makes this the best ice cream store in the whole wide world. The ice cream is awesome too.Such a small quaint place with outdoor benches to enjoy the view of the bay.
