If I could I'd give it 6 stars! Excellent and plentiful food. We eat here when on vacation and will stop several times over 10 days. Always friendly wait staff so you know the management treats them well. What I hate about giving 5 stars is the place will fill up quickly.

So I messed up twice because I’m exhausted and kids have the stomach flu. I got something new and didn’t realize it had cheese so I exchanged it. Totally nice and made it to order pretty much, even though it was right before closing and I thought they gave me the same thing so my husband called. I was wrong and they handled it very nicely and professionally EVEN THOUGH WE ALL KNEW I WAS WRONG. I love jojos though and it’s my favorite diner to go too. PS it was delicious and I’m sorry!! Everyone has off days!

My family and I come here all the time for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and love it. Have never had a bad experience once. The owner and family are great people and truly do a great job with everything they do. Eat in, pick up, or delivery, Jojos always hits the spot! Would highly recommended!

Thank You To The Kind Humanitarian Gentleman That Answered The Phone Monday 1/5/2026 2:45 That Took My Order For The Quart Chicken Noodle HomeMade Soup & Grilled Cheese Sandwich. Thank You For Putting In Some Crackers Also. I Grately Appreciate Your Hospitality & As Long As I'm In The Area, You'll Have A Loyal Customer Forever.

I Can't Believe I Contracted The Flu For New Year's Day & It's Whooping Me, Badly. I Have Underlying Conditions With Severe COPD/Asthma & It's Taking It's Toll On Me, My Heart, Head, Torso & Legs. Don't Really Have The Stamina To Stand To Even Heat Up Some Chicken Noodle Soup Or Broth. I'm Starving For Nourishment & Tired Of Drinking Water. I Know I Have The Ability To Overcome This Too, As It Shall Pass. But The Results Are Going To Take Much Longer Than Ever Before. The Older I Get The More Subject I Am To Airborne Illnesses Having Underlying Conditions. Please Pray With Me. Jesus, Lord & Savior, Breathe Into A Breath Of Fresh Clean Air Into My Mouth, Fill My Lungs With The Power To Exhale A Sense Of Clarity And The Mental Awareness To Know That Of Which I Have Been Cleansed. Thank You Jesus. I Love You, Hear My Prayer.

Love this place. The wait staff are so friendly. We go there so often that they know us. It's quite a drive for us but for around $25, both my boyfriend and I can eat. Portions are really good for most things. The only time I was disappointed by portion was when I got an appetizer of jalapeno poppers. But it wasn't outrageously priced. I would recommend trying the fries with brown gravy, the vegetarian omelette, and the tilapia dinner was really good.

JoJo’s Diner in Chesapeake City is an absolute standout! The food is consistently fresh and delicious, with very generous portions and a menu that offers something for everyone. Prices are very reasonable, making it a great spot for both casual meals and family outings. What truly sets JoJo’s apart is the people—the staff is warm, welcoming, and attentive, creating a friendly atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

I had already had a big lunch. I came in here to kill time while they were fixing my wife's computer up the street.

I like French onion soup so I ordered it here. It was delicious. It came in a traditional onion soup bowl. The soup was prepared with the melted cheese covering the bowl and oozing down the sides just as tradition requires. I recommend it. The iced tea was also excellent. They have both onion rings and onion straws. I ordered the onion straws. They were outstanding.

The restaurant was clean and neat. Service was friendly and efficient. I highly recommend JoJo's in South Chesapeake City.

Food was good. Service had a smile and was excellent. The only thing they could improve on is the bussing. Old plates we everywhere. They are busy. It is great to have a local neighborhood dinner. We will definitely be back.

As it was named, so it was. A lot of food for the price, and preparation and quality was great. You must be hungry to order it though. We will try this place for lunch or dinner next time. Great first visit.
