There is a very good reason why its names Sunset Cafe. Seafood were freshly served with simple style of cooking (steam or boil) with nice seasoning. Can’t emphasis enough on having few dinners with that precious sunsetting view as I usually poped by during evening. In my humble opinion (someone from Southeast Asia), a hidden gem of Chesapeake City, MD.
THEY HAVE THE BEST BOARDWALK FRENCH FRIES IN CECIL COUNTY! HAVE A GOOD SEAFOOD SELECTION AND A GREAT VIEW OF THE C/D CANAL ELK RIVER! FRIENDLEY STAFF! I THINK OF IT AS A 1960'S TYPE ATMOSPHERE WHICH I REALLY LIKE! HAVE BEEN HERE NOW 4 TIMES SINCE MY FIRST VISIT WHICH WAS BACK IN JUNE.VERY SECLUDED AREA,WOULDNT EVEN KNOW IT WAS THERE.WOULD COMPARE FOOD AS B BETTER THAN MOST OF THE EXPENSIVE WATERFRONT RESTAURANTS IN THE AREA!
Best sunset in the area. Good food, ask Paul or Kelly about specials. Good service, and friendly at atmosphere. And once a month they have live music with no cover and no increase in drink prices. Its hard to beat that. And when you visit, if Kelly is not busy, don't foget to ask her about the doggies.
