It's a small "taproom"/crab shack. Not much "on tap". Not much of an atmosphere. Room does get quite loud. Crab cakes good although small and expensive. Other food was just ok. Meghan provided excellent service, thank you Meghan!

Last time I was there was August 2003 with my wife The food was just as I remembered it The crab cakes over linguini in red sauce was excellent I was only able to eat half because the portion was huge

We stopped in for a small bite to eat and a drink. Had some shrimp and corn on the cobs. Also the wife and I had a couple house drinks The Shrimp were Nice and firm along with very good size. Seasoned very good. The drinks were served mixed with ice cream in them and are very good. We seen a party of 5 having the crabs along with other food that they craved about. The place has been there for 40 something years and the only complaint but not a complaint is it looks it, but that is not a bad thing. I love the old school look and they keep it clean. Just aged nicely. We will return for a true meal. Oh and the waitress was very nice.

I walked in and was treated like I didn't belong. When I walked in there were three chicks standing at the counter and none of them wanted to talk to us apparently so I finally had to ask them if I could go to the bar, you would have thought I asked them something in a different language. Whatever, I go to the bar and the awkwardness continues with the bartender. I felt so uncomfortable and then while making my drink the bartender takes the drink into the back, yeah I'm done. Also, cash only, but they conveniently have an ATM with a few! Insert eye roll.
Went here for crabs today. We got the #2 size, and they were $48 dollars for a dozen and fries with old bay. We got there about 3 o'clock and the place was almost empty. The waitress was very attentive and got our drinks quickly. The only thing I can say about the crabs is they were a little mushey also the meat stuck on the inside of the claws. I pretty sure that they were over cooked.

Great hospitality from staff. A very kind lady was willing to get me and my friends some regular drinks for the road without ordering any food. She joked around with us while waiting and said we were welcome back any time. I would highly recommend this place based on their dedication to kindness and hospitality.
