Was visiting Baltimore last weekend and had the pleasure of trying Tender is the Night vermouth at a local gin bar.Hands down the best vermouth I’ve ever had (did a tasting in Spain last summer, and this blew even those vermouths out of the water).When I got home to NYC I had to order 4 bottles of the Tender is the Night, and 1 bottle of The Sun Also Rises, as I’ve yet to try Sun but I anticipate I will be needing additional bottles lol!Delivery was free and they were at my door 24hrs after placing the order!! Quicker than most of my Amazon orders!

The atmosphere at this local restaurant/wine bar is cozy, eclectic and delightful. The service and staff are friendly and approachable. The wine flight is well priced. The wine is the best I've tasted in Maryland (red, rose and white). I would recommend to the staff that they augment the menu. The gazpacho is amazing, the charcuterie as well, but more tapas are needed to be cooked in a toaster/oven and not with a blow torch. The blow torch while handy, leaves a different taste on the food. I believe this restaurant would be more successful and profitable if it added more simple fare food and a few sandwiches that would work for lunch and dinner. I love going here and have given away the wine bottles as gifts to other people!

Visiting Chestertown for the weekend. We went to Casa Carmen for a bottle of wine. The service was horrible and the server was borderline rude to us and the table next to us. We waited for a table and were told to "just sit there until it could be cleared". It took in excess of 10 months to simply get the tableCleared and another 5+ to simply take an order. We aren't high maintenance customers in the least but decided to leave as did the 5 top table near us. Basically this server (arrogant male in his late 20's) made our visit very undesirable. Fortunately there are many other options in town that Salvaged our visit to this great town.

We savored and greatly enjoyed the local vermouth and charcuterie plate. Grilled octopus and charred green onions were creative additions and paired well. Service was cordial, warm, and friendly as well as prompt and attentive.

Stopped in last week for a small plate since it was post tea time at the Brampton Inn. Pulpo a la Gallega was delicious and tender. I think the waiter was Jake and he was very nice and helpful. I like that the are multiple seating options so I was able to sit out front away from any large groups. I also like the option to pay from the app!

We rented out the back room for a 25-person party and we had such a blast! The wines are always delicious and the tapas style menu was perfect for the event. We particularly love the pan con tomate with anchovies and the sardines. Erika did a great job with the admin in advance and Tyler took fantastic care of us. My friends left with some cases of wine because they enjoyed it so much, and they kicked off our wedding weekend perfectly! Thank you guys!!
Cute winery off the beaten path in a small town. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Variety of wines (and even vermouths!) Yummy tapas fare. Enjoyed it so much that we joined their wine club! Can't wait for that first paella wine club dinner!
Lovely tasting room in a beautiful little town. Great staff and energy. Wine was really fun and delicious. Vermouths and sparkler were my favorites. Really good viognier too. Pricing is high for the wine - but it is small batch so I know that makes it more expensive to make. Just be prepared. The experience is truly worth it.

We loved Casa Carmen! So much so that I booked my daughters bridal shower there. The wines and food are amazing!! They were accommodating to my food restrictions. And had really good music playing.

We love Case Carmen. The wines are excellent and the food even better. It's a sweet place to meet friends and share plates. I also like that they switch up their menu periodically and let you try different charcuterie combos. I always feel welcome there.
