We planned to take a detour to visit this bakery, on our way to Rehoboth, on October 4, 2023. Both the Americano and , Expresso were outstanding. The seeded baguette was just out of the oven and was the best baguette we've had in the U.S. You have to travel to France to compete with it.Parking: Very limited parking spaces.

You cannot visit Chestertown and not stop here for the best -- made on-site -- pastries, artesian breads, bagels, cookies, croissants, etc etc. Also, the hand crafted coffees are exceptional. When we visit Chestertown, this is our 1st stop without exception!

Today was probably our fifth or sixth time at Evergrain, and it's never let us down. Drinks and baked goods are always excellent. Today I had the cheese pretzel and an iced Spanish latte, both of which were fantastic.

Popped in here around noon on a Sunday and they were sold out of so many things. They were also super busy with a line out the door. After I tried my sunbun and pain au chocolate, I immediately figured out why. Their products are DELICIOUS. The sunbun was flaky, buttery, and sweet and the pain au chocolate was flaky and buttery- and the chocolate in the middle was a deep chocolate that complemented the pastry so well. I also got a Spanish latte (they had so many latte options it was hard to choose!) and I loved it. I definitely want to come back, and earlier next time so there's more options.

Words can’t express how much I love this place. Small town vibes, high school kids working the counter, delicious pastries and the best iced matcha latte I’ve found in Maryland. Try the lavender iced matcha latte, everknots (addicting), and sun buns! I also liked my breakfast sandwich but wish it had some kind of veggie or avocado in it.

Wow!! I bought a box of a variety of their baked goods and everything was phenomenal! The croissants were excellent (especially the everything bagel seasoned one with a dollop of cream cheese!). The Americano coffee was good and the service was terrific. Also in a super cute part of town. Will definitely return when in the area.
