My husband and I live in Stevensville and decided to take a ride as we love the Eastern Shore. It's been quite a while since we have been to Chestertown. Entering the restaurant the Hostess were very friendly and polite. We have been to other restaurants and upon entering your lucky to get a hello or smile. So kudos to the hostess and all the staff. Made an evening dinner reservation after watching some migratory water birds. Started with vegetable crab soup and Guinness. Enjoyed steak, salad, & sweet potato; and fried blue catfish on rice & Cajun sausage gravy. Followed dinner with bread pudding for dessert. Prices were typical of nowadays, the old $20 is now $30; our entrees were in the 20s. Service was fine and music was being set up.
