Procolino's Pizza (Proc’s)

Their food always tastes good. They are generous with their servings and they are fast with your order. I have only one area that I think could be better-- the pizza crust. I realize it has to be be thick and somewhat stiff--because they put so much topping on them! The calzone crust is just right.

The Food and service is always great. I've been going to this restaurant for 40+ years. I've had s great relationship with the owners, Vinnie and Sal (Sal is deceased) for the entire time I've been going here and they are the best people in the world.

Procolino's has been a local eatery for several decades. The menu is quite extensive, and everything they make is delicious. The restaurant is located in an older strip mall, so the atmosphere is slightly outdated, but the food makes up for that!

My goodness, this place is packed. You would actually want to turn around and go elsewhere. But they are very fast, with huge portions and great prices.

Sorry, but we were very disappointed with the pizza in this first visit. The pizza was as far from New York Thin Crust Pizza as you can get. I know this place has a very good local reputation, for us, the pizza was lackluster, at best. Of positive note, the counter check out lady was attentive and cheerful. The restaurant was clean and well staffed. I was concerned when I l ifting the two pizza boxes due to their robust weight; immediately, that made me question that the pizzas could not be a NY thin crust variety. Serving the pizza at home, the crust was wet, floppy, and anything but thin. New York pizza should be able to be folded, eaten with one hand, and has a nice crunch to the crust. That said, if it is your favorite place, enjoy it! No hard feelings.

I ordered the shrimp parmigiana for takeout; it was cold, it didn't have flavor, and it was not an enjoyable dish. From the sauce to the shirmp, and the noddles together were just poorly made. All I recommend getting is the cheese steak.

I guess I am spoiled by Lancaster County quality. First, when I order bone in wings, I prefer wings without breading. The breading was soggy, so we recrisped them at home. Cheeseburger sub was large but they forgot the cheese. Husband's belly was not so good the next morning.
My mushroom pizza slice was reheated with raw mushrooms (fine) and cheese but to pay $4.50+ for a slice of pizza is a bit expensive. The pizza is average. In Nottingham, PA on the way to Chestertown I ordered a fresh piece of pizza (its actually a 1/4 of the pie with mushrooms. Scrumptious at $3.87! Much larger portion. I also saw a worker carry five pizza crusts from the back so I am not sure if the dough is made fresh here.
I have yet to try the pasta dishes and may sometime.

Great Pizza an Nudel dishes! More like a diner with self Service ambiences but delicious! Also good for take away! Especially the Barbecue Chicken und Bolognese are tasty 😋

when you advertise closing at 830 you keep your grill on until 830 .... not have a hld dozen slices left at 800 ... the food is only ok at best anyway
