“On a bit of a health kick and randomly popped in looking for (obviously) a salad and was warmly greeted by Moussa. It was a down time and there was one customer ahead of me being helped by the team member behind the line. Moussa paused whatever work he was doing on his laptop and jumped behind the line to help me out, making a couple of recommendations and helping me navigate the extensive menu. We chatted a bit as he built my salad and I discovered he was actually the manager. The food, service, and atmosphere were all 10/10. Moussa did a fantastic job making sure my first experience at Just Salad was a great one, and I would highly recommend this spot to anyone.“

“Since checking this place out, I have become a regular customer, and now come in 1-2x a week for a grocery restock. I have had no time to cook since the new year and had been eating out almost every meal.... but there are so few places around with healthy options. I am so picky about what fruits and veggies, organic items, etc. that I eat, and thankfully sprouts has provided great options for that! The baristas/cashiers are always so helpful and kind to us. Some of my favorites are-- ALL of the soups (seriously that chicken and rice is perfection, especially if you are under the weather), turkey chili, thai wrap, veggie wrap, egg roll in a bowl, drunken noodles, bbq chicken and succotash, the vitality ginger drink (that spice burns but feels good!), the challah and sourdough bread, eskimo bites for a treat, and the strawberry blondie brownies! I am trying new things as the menu changes, but these have been on my constant restock when available of what I have had so far!! I recently learned they can heat the items for you, so you can eat a hot meal there (I have not done this yet myself, as this is like grocery shopping for me so i take it home... but i have seen lots of people in there enjoying their meals!) I have seen some complain about the prices, but if you know the quality of what you are getting (local, organic), then you would realize these are very fair prices! If I have ever wanted to request something or had a slight issue, Sprouts has always been more than happy to accommodate. “Second time here and it was even better than the first! The chicken and beef kubideh kabobs were succulent and flavorful! The qabli pulao was aromatic and with the perfect amount of sweetness from the carrots and raisins. The grilled tomatoes and the sauces were the perfect accompaniments with the correct amount of heat. The lady at the counter and the chef were warm and very accommodating with multiple requests. The prices are much more reasonable with generous portions, especially compared to the other Afghan restaurants in town and the taste is superior. Kabul Castle Kabob is one of the hidden gems of DC!“

“Today I had a great experience at this location on University Blvd. I have been to many Tropical Smoothies, but this was the fastest, nicest, most welcoming one I've ever experienced. I walked in to place my order, the cashier greeted me, there were around 12 other customers there, so I was expecting to wait a bit as I usually have to. When I tell you, not only did they make the other customers smoothies shortly after I sat down, my order was right behind theirs. I only waited maybe 3min, if that long.

I was impressed!! Great job guys. And my smoothie tasted consistently great.

The only reason I gave atmosphere a 4 is because the music wasn't on. It was a little awkward hearing everyone's conversation.“

“One of the most flavorful meals I’ve ever indulged in! Love the vibes there, and that everything is healthy and organic. Impressed that the prices weren’t too high either! Was just traveling through Salem on vacation in September & glad I found this place. Highly recommend. (Pictures are of the Rainbow Harvest bowl and Blue Magic Smoothie) - which had a kick to it, but tasted like Christmas.“

“We had a long stay at DCA when Prime Minister of Iraq came to DC. This restaurant was the only good thing about that. The food was reasonable, healthy and very tasty.. The staff was friendly and professional. I live in St Augustine and see the nearest location is Jacksonville. I will definitely find it when I'm in Jacksonville and be looking at other airports!“
