I was taken aback when i walked in to pick up my order and was greeted with bullet proof glass around the counter and food. Is this southeast dc or Clinton?? Is this area that dangerous to invest in something that secure. My order was made correctly but i probably won’t be back.
They are very mean and have nasty attitudes and very rude, my 2nd bad experience there- I’m done !! They are nicer down the street on old branch ave

Another customer just asking for transparency in pricing ( why he was charge so much?) Very valid question cashier just ignored him and kept asking for money! He was just asking the question apparently he had been there before. But, after a few tense words he paid and dined in. I'm sure he had a few more words for him after the rush of people left. It just didn't sit well for you have to get an attitude and argue just to get out of the cashier the amount they are charging for you food!

I would go lower if I could, employee sneezed on his hand and when I explained that he need to wash his hands and change gloves it seemed like a problem.

I got to the counter the man started taking my order and then walked off, so I walked down, thinking he was still taking it, and he was coming back and then there was one person behind me and the lady started taking him. I will never be back here again no thank you I understand you don’t like your job quit Customer service is not for you

This Subway has bulletproof glass but no restrooms—what's that about? How can a place that serves food not offer a spot to wash your hands or, frankly, just use the bathroom? It's basic decency. I think all restaurants should welcome families, provide water, and offer public restrooms.If a restaurant can't meet simple human needs, it doesn't deserve my business.

My co-worker and I have been going to 8985 Woodyard Rd, Subway for years. However, in the last few years the customer service and food quality has been terrible. We have gone back from time to time and nothing has changed. Today we encountered 4 unsatisfied or ignore customers. The staff/management need customer service training bad. Customer trying to place order and being ignored, when you try to inform them of the correction that is needed; eyes are rolled and they speak in a different language so you don't know what they're saying. The quality and customer service has made us decide we will not return. In the past management had great customer skills, how to prepare the food, listened to the customer. The floors were disgusting, trash over flowing, soda dispensary filthy. I would hope that whoever is in charge of this franchise at this location make a or send someone as customer and/or surprise visit. Prior to this management staff it was an AWESOME place to go and sit and eat, enjoyed the food and staffing was very professional. I'm really sorry to leave a bad review but again this is been so for a few years. Best of luck to them, but training etc. maybe a refresher would help.
