They took my orders wrong twice. And the second time it happened it was because they put a staff who couldn’t speak fluent English and when the manager came out he was indirectly blaming us for not being clear even though I was speaking with the cashier firmly and asked her to repeat the order again even though she didn’t however I repeated my order again to her and she told me it was good. Even though the manager was professional in a way he was blaming us even after explaining to him we were being clear with our order.

I live close by and have visited El Gran Pollo regularly but not frequently since they opened ( 7-8 times/year) Prior to my most recent visit I probably would have given them 4 stars. What cost them 2 stars? Three things changed: 1. The chicken - always good, moist and flavorful - last night -dry, tough and lacking any flavor - obviously overcooked or in the warmer drawer too long. 2. My favorite side, creamed spinach, off the menu. 3. The credit card terminal - one of the new ones that nags you for a tip and won't process the card until you make a choice Not so "Gran" Won't be back!

The pollo is very flavorful. The best taste of any roasted chicken in town. We keep coming back for more. The options for the sides are a good variety. The place is spacious with a nice Latin music playing in the background that helps whet your appetite. Best of all are the people serving at the counter, they are very friendly and helpful. Wow! This food is really good, I'm really impressed but how fast they can give you what you order. I come here almost every other day and the price is very affordable and they do not over charge like others do! They have amazing choices for us Hispanics and for those who want something new! And the place is spotless seems like they really keep it nice and clean! It's a must, 10/10 and the owners and workers are super nice and nothing but the best! Wish this restaurant true success. :)

Love this place. We live in the northern county but come here often. A lot of food so we usually end up with two meals. Have never had anything bad- ever. Wish they'd open up further North!

Perhaps we didn't order well tonight ( chicken tacos and chicken parrilla) but chicken was fatty and disappointing. Vegetables were abundant but greasy. For desert I had alfajores with dulce de leche and cookies very crumbly and filling tasted like icing vs delicious version I had in the DC area, Cusco, Peru and Bienis Aires, Argentina. My husband did like his tres leches cake. Will try again and order 1/2 chicken as that seems to be their epic entree and will try their rice.

Hit or miss with this place. I’ve ordered two chicken taco salads that were awful. Today’s salad had liquid under the tortilla shell so the shell was soggy. The salad was cold and just gross. Most of it went in the trash. I guess it depends on who is doing the cooking that day. Also, the music is so loud you literally have to shout. ☹️
