I went to the carry out side. I ordered 3 Seafood clubs. Spent over $100 with the cheese cakes for sandwiches and they were made with stale bread. What a disappointment

Visited again last night for a meetup. We had Boris for our server and he was excellent! Kitchen probably got backed up since we waited for our entrees for a while. It's Restaurant Week so... loved my Burrata Caprese salad and my crab cake was delicious!

Ate here with friends Saturday night. Our server, Christina, was very pleasant and attentive. Highly recommend her.

My crab cake was delicious!

The seafood sampler was excellent! The calamari was perfectly cooked, the crab balls delicious, the scallops and shrimp were also scrumptious! My sister suggested the combo crab soup, it's was delicious, I loved it. It was the 1st. time for combo crab soup. The service was spot on and was all thoroughly enjoyed. It was quite a treat after the long stressful day we had. I'll definitely go back when I return to Baltimore and enjoy a full dinner.

The food here is fantastic!!! Hands down best crab cakes to ever grace the earth (and I’ve eaten a lot of crab cakes from a variety of sources). I’m from the Midwest and we visit family in the area twice a year and I stop here EVERY TIME we visit to get food to go. The carry out staff is typically slow and not very friendly but that’s probably why they are on carry out and not serving tables. Regardless, my focus is on the wonderful food and well worth the 7+ hours drive just to get the crab cakes.

Me and my sister stopped in for drinks and a little food yesterday around noon. We got strawberry margaritas. My sister asks for a sugar rim.I asked for a salt and sugar rim. When the waiter brought us our drinks. My sister had a sugar rim in mine did not.I asked him where it was , and he said he put it inside the drink when me and my sister specifically asked him if he could put salt and sugar on a plate and then put that on the rim????? The next time we come back we will go to the bar. Waiter made my brain hurt. Wish you didn't auto add gratuity, he wouldn't have gotten a tip from me.

Bar open late. Good cheesesteak, large portion. Music playlist late 90s hits over a crystal clear PA that did not drown out conversation. Lively atmosphere, friendly staff. Very happy find when I was tired and hungry!

Very popular, thus very crowded and loud on Father's Day. Service a bit slow, probably due to the crowds. Food was very good.

This is our second visit to Pappas. We both ordered the 8 ounce crabcake, jack-knife potatoes, and coleslaw. Our waiter Ryan S. was attentive and a great server. We highly recommend this lovely restaurant

My wife and I have been watching YouTube videos of the best crab cakes in Maryland. Pappas in Cockeysville came up in a couple of influencers’ lists, so we made the 1 1/2 hour drive north to experience it for ourselves.

We arrived at 11:30 on a Sunday morning and chose to sit on the restaurant side (versus the sports bar side).

Our meal started with soft rolls right out of the oven and vinegar-y cucumbers. My wife had some them while I passed on them for I don’t like cucumbers. Obviously, we later ordered the single crab cake entree with two sides ($33.99). I chose the fries and the up-charge for a Caesar salad while my wife picked the coleslaw and mashed potatoes. The crab cakes did not disappoint!

Even though it was a hot day outside, they kept the restaurant very cold. After we ate, I didn’t notice it as much because I was so full. A final note is the lunch crowd started coming in around 12:15pm.

This place was recommended by one of my friends, but I was disappointed when my online order was wrong. I ordered stuffed salmon with a baked potato, but the salmon wasn’t stuffed and no baked potato. I should have checked the bag before I left. I only looked at the receipt and trusted everything was in the bag. Also, no napkins or utensils. The cashier was very nice. I tried calling, but kept getting routed back to the main menu. I drove an hour away. 😔

Food was wonderful as always. My salad was super fresh, can I get the 1000 island recipe? So delicious. Chicken Chesapeake also delicious. Is your female bartender on Mondays ok?
