Well, it's been a while since I ordered from here. I decided to give then another try. I ordered through grubhub because I wanted it delivered. What has happened to this place? The Mongolian beef had a sweetness to it that it didn't have before. The Singapore curry noodles were not done well either. It was all overcooked, the shrimp, the chicken, the noodles. When did they start putting broccoli in it? I can't comment on the congee because they didn't send it. Nor can I comment on the Hong Kong wonton since they didn't send that either. I won't be wasting my money here again!

We drive 50 minutes to eat here whenever we crave authentic, delicious Chinese food. The food is consistently fresh and flavorful. Service is friendly, efficient and no-nonsense. Price is reasonable ($105 pre-tax and tip for 6 adults and had leftovers). Atmosphere is unremarkable and noise level is reasonable (able to hold a conversation though occasionally have to repeat oneself to be understood). We come here frequently enough that the wait staff know what we usually order, so, of course, I highly recommend Noodle King.

Minimalist little restaurant. The tea pot was a nice stainless steel with a spout that doesn't spill tea. The water glasses and tea cups were glass and porcelain. A nice touch except for the plastic plates. The food was exceptional. The calamari and shrimp were crispy with the right amount of saltiness. The Peking
Duck was perfect. They give you plenty of hoisin sauce. There was also a bottle of chili oil. Unlike most restaurants that act like they're running out of chili oil and hoisin sauce and ration it out. Also the pancakes they come with are large and thick enough to fill. Most restaurants only give a pancake three inches in diameter. And if you look at them the wrong way they will rip leaking Duck and sauce everywhere. Service was excellent. Our drinks were topped off quickly. And the waitress offered extra napkins. Most restaurants I've had to stop the waitress for refills of drinks and napkins. The tapioca dessert was a nice touch and surprise. Even among Chinese restaurants it's a rarity.

Cannot help writing this review to give the restaurant a 5-star. The food is authentic, fresh and delicious Hongkong style. The location is very interesting but highlights the authenticity of its HK style. Highly recommend the place to anyone who is looking for a real taste of HK dishes or for convenient take-out Chinese food.
Secretly over charge on tax . Service is so bad. Foods are not too fresh. Never go there if you want to live.
Hidden gem!
Restaurantji Recommends
We have been to Noodle King several times now. It is one of our favorite Chinese restaurants in the area, despite its humble appearance inside and out. Every single dish they served was exceptionally delicious. The only reason I took a star off for atmosphere is that the restaurant is not decorated in a lush manner as many of the area Chinese restaurants are, but the food is superb.
Ordered delivery - the pepper steak and pan fried noodles was decent, but the hot & sour soup was literally the consistency of slime. Inedible..
I just went to dinner here and the food was wonderful! I particularly recommend the Malaysian kwan teu (N12), as the flat rice noodles and shrimp had a great flavor and were cooked perfectly. If you prefer thin rice noodles, the Singapore noodles (N5) have the same seasoning.
Real Chinese food!
We’ve driven past this place, but never thought it looked great. After a recommendation, we tried it out and were very happy. My wife is from Hong Kong and always looking for real Cantonese food- this hit the spot. We Ordered chow fun, which was excellent but a little light on the noodles (didn’t skimp on the seafood however), fried fish and a veggie dish. Everything was fresh and delicious.
