Great food. Two issues: portion sizes were modest for price and they had no menus! Not everyone has their phone with them so you should really have a menu at least as backup.

It’s an almost club like atmosphere with the freshest most delicious food. It is a bit of a wait but it is well worth it because of how delicious the food is and the generosity of the portions. We have done dine in and takeout here and every time it was delicious.

Order Rasta Pasta and coco bread through Door Dash. Pasta had one small scoop of chicken and the coco bread was burnt and unable to eat.. hard as a rock…. Thankfully door dash refunded my money. Won’t be going back

Great Jamaican barbecue. This seems like a college/young adult hangout so it was quiet on a Sunday night. Really good food and service. Coconut bread was special. Seems like a bar with great food. Cute decor. Loud music but okay from the corner seating.

I'm disappointed is the food here after coming back for a second time. I bragged about this place to my friends because of the first experience I had here a year ago.

I recently came for a second time, on a random Thursday, and it was slow. I was happy because I knew I would get the food faster. My boyfriend and I ordered salmon rasta pasta. He is also famIliad with this company, but had food from the food truck. When we got our food, I wanted to ask if the rest of the salmon was still being cooked. It looked like they cut the a 4oz salmon in half, long ways, and slit it between my boyfriend and I. I felt punked. I was so upset, but didn't bother speaking on it, because my boyfriend would have cussed someone out and I wanted to keep the peace. Not only was the salmon small, but the pasta tasted off. Perhaps there are new cooks. I'm not willing to give this place a third chance. Paying all that money and cheating the customer is never cool. The salmon was way bigger in the truck days.

Now, the best thing about here is the atmosphere.

I had salmon rasta pasta at Waiting to oxtail and it cost less, and the salmon was a good size and the flavor was amazing.

My friend and I decided to check out this spot because we love Jamaican food — and they went above and beyond our expectations! We ordered the oxtail and jerk chicken wings, and both were incredible. The oxtail literally melts in your mouth — pure heaven — and the wings were packed with flavor and perfectly juicy. I also tried the chicken patty as an appetizer, and it was hands down the best patty I’ve ever had. The crunchy part was the highlight for me! On top of that, the staff and manager were so friendly and welcoming. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone craving authentic Jamaican food.

The food was perfect!
The reception was exceptional! Such lovely people! I got the jerk, rice & peas, cabbage, and Mack and cheese - well spiced, flavorful, and nothing short of tasty. I’m super grateful my frien and I came here. And it’s our first time! Will surely be back by God’s mercy and grace

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Jamaican Cuisine and First-Class Service at Jerk at Nite

Jerk at Nite in College Park, Maryland, continues to set the standard for authentic Jamaican cuisine in the DMV area. Every visit feels like a trip to the islands with food that is consistently fresh, flavorful, and deeply rooted in tradition. The jerk chicken is tender with the perfect balance of heat and smokiness, the oxtails melt in your mouth, and the sides from rice and peas to fried plantains are prepared with care and precision.

Beyond the incredible food, what truly makes the experience stand out is the service, especially from Samantha, one of the best bartenders in the area. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and warm personality elevate the entire dining experience. She crafts each drink with skill and consistency, whether it’s a classic rum punch or one of her creative cocktails that perfectly complement the meal.
