Went to Peter Changs with some freinds, service was great, the waiter gave me chopsticks when she noticed I dropped mine on the floor without me needing to tell her. She was very sweet. The food was mid tho, menu is confusing, 90% of the items are variations of one another, nothing is really unqiue besides the Half Duck/Whole duck. we swear the dumplings are microwaved because when u bite into them their hot and you will notice water/oil mixture inside the dumpling .

Definitely recommend the the beef noodle soup. Big portions. The beef was perfectly tender.

Overall good experience, the bubble tea was really good. I got passion fruit and it had really bits of the fruit in it. The dumplings were ok as were the Dan Dan noodles. What really stood out was the lamb skewers and the spicy fish.

Take out was horrible slow! What a waste of my time to sit in a parking lot because they can’t estimate pickup time correctly.
Food was good overall. Will be back… 30 mins after pickup time.

My partner and I go very often. Staff is attentive and courteous, and the food has gotten better over time. Their tomato egg stir fry and fish-smelled eggplant are my favorite non-noodle dishes. Their beef noodles are amazing. Most of their menu is great: sour flounder, chicken curry, chili oil beef, grandma braised pork belly, etc. Noodle dishes (except Dan Dan noodle) are big servings and everything else is small which is perfect for two people. Their appetizers and Peking duck are the only things we avoid on the menu. It’s our favorite place to go to in College Park.

I will have to agree word for word with Youngmin Choi - we had beef and broccoli stir fry, the spicy orange chicken, chicken and green bean stir fry, a chicken skewer and a beef skewer. The food was too salty, the skewers were heavily seasoned. The waitress/host barely checked up on us. We had to go to the head table to get checked out. It was not a pleasant experience. We will not be going again.

Waited a couple of months to give this place time to find its rhythm. I highly recommend the Mongolian beef, chicken with string beans, Peking duck, and Uyghur Beef Mini Wonton QuOur (this is a large soup with tiny dumplings).
I do not recommend the cumin lamb curry, the dan dan pork noodles, handmade pork dumpling and peach oolong tea.
Service was not good. Our food came out fast but our server was not attentive. Had to ask other servers for water. And he forgot our rice that we ordered. It would have helped to have it when we were supposed to so that we could eat it to level out the heat from the spices. He never asked how things tasted after the food was dropped. I was looking forward to the service because that is what was mentioned in most reviews. Our experience was not the case.
Also, plating was not good. We did not know the Uyghur Beef Mini Wonton QuOur was a large soup. They should have given us small soup bowls and spoons for the four of us to use and share this big bowl of soup.
The flat small plate to eat from did not work well. It was hard to eat all of the food off this plate. I think a shallow bowl plate would have made it easier for everyone to eat from when multiple tapas is on their own plate.
MEAT UP old restaurant neon signs still all around the restaurant.
Im looking forward to going back in a few months giving then more time to figure things out and make it a better dining experience.

Sat down with my family for about 15 minutes then had to leave as no one brought us water or asked if we would like to order. Host seemed pleasant but no kind of good customer service

Wow, I’ve been to most of Peter Chang’s restaurants in the DMV, and this is a new favorite. I find NiHao to be too salty and Mama Chang’s has become too oily and the quality has fallen since when they opened.
I find this location to not be too salty and to be quite tasty. Yes, it does seem like Peter Chang is just using the prior restaurants dish ware, but I’m guessing that all of the restaurant set up came with the lease, and they’re likely testing whether or not the location can be profitable before investing very much money in it. It didn’t really bother me too much, only that the bowl shape is not the best for soup dishes.
We ordered Napa cabbage with tofu skin, dry fried pork trotters, and the da pan chicken. I’d never seen Uyghur food on a Peter Chang menu! I liked their take on it. I felt the pricing was fair, and I love the smaller tapas portion sizes.
I also much prefer the drive to this location than driving all the way to Fairfax for Mama Chang. I’m sure we will be back soon!
I had a great experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were attentive without being pushy. The food came out fresh and flavorful, making the whole visit really enjoyable.

Been to multiple Peter Changs locations. Enoyed this Peter Changs menu and the price. Skewers, the mongolian beef, and the duck were really good. Loved the Jalpeno beef as well. Beef noodle soup was too plain, broth was good, but the noodles had no flavor. Will return for more Mongolian Beef and Skewers.
