“I had a craving for sushi and checked uber eats and they had a buy one get one free deal on a few items! We took advantage of the bogo deal and chose the sashimi appetizer (salmon, yellowtail, and tuna) and the spicy salmon roll. All of the fish were so fresh and tasty. We also grabbed an avocado salad which comes with ginger dressing. In my opinion, the dressing is a bit on the sweeter side and would have preferred less so. Definitely a winner in my book for quick service that’s dependable regarding freshness and taste!“

“This is my go-to poke bowl spot whenever I visit my parents in Rockville, and honestly, I feel like it’s a bit underrated because it’s so damn good. The salmon is always incredibly fresh, and I love pairing it with imitation crab.

My usual toppings are scallions, sesame seeds, sweet onions, mixed greens, spinach, lettuce, seaweed salad (a must), sweet corn, edamame, cucumbers, cilantro, masago, and sweet egg. The portions are generous, the flavors are consistently great, and the price is very fair for the quality you get.

Definitely one of my favorite poke spots in the area!“

“We had such a wonderful lunch at Poke Papa today! Aracely made what were easily the best poke bowls we’ve ever had.

We were dining with a 3-year-old and a 6-year-old who were a little hesitant to try raw fish. Aracely was incredibly kind, patient, and engaging, offering them samples of the Sakura and Lomi salmon so they could decide whether they wanted a salmon bowl or stick with chicken. Thanks to her encouragement, they both ended up choosing the Lomi salmon, and they loved it!

Every recommendation she made was absolutely on point. Before we left, I asked her to make me a gyudon bowl to go the way she personally likes it because I trusted her taste completely. It did not disappoint!

The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, but what really made our visit memorable was Aracely’s exceptional customer service. She made our family feel so welcome and turned lunch into a fun experience for the kids. We will definitely be back, and we’ll be recommending Poke Papa to everyone we know!“

“Food is good. They unfortunately charge extra for some toppings which is not stated on their physical menu. I was told I can choose my toppings at the end while the chef prepared my meal. When I got to the end they told me, adding an egg would be extra even though the egg is listed as a topping choice on the page where it asks you to choose between a Teriyaki bowl or a bento box.“

“The pictures are not up to to date and they have much less options now. There's no more poke bowls, dim sum, or sushi. Just rice/noodle bowls, and pho.

I got a fried rice bowl with teriyaki chicken, and it was very good. You get to pick that toppings, just like Chipotle. It's a weird choice, but I added potatoes to it, and they were SO good. Great favor, soft and with crispy skin.

The serving sizes are big and I couldn't finish. I was just a bit disappointed they didn't have poke bowls any more.“
