“I had a craving for sushi and checked uber eats and they had a buy one get one free deal on a few items! We took advantage of the bogo deal and chose the sashimi appetizer (salmon, yellowtail, and tuna) and the spicy salmon roll. All of the fish were so fresh and tasty. We also grabbed an avocado salad which comes with ginger dressing. In my opinion, the dressing is a bit on the sweeter side and would have preferred less so. Definitely a winner in my book for quick service that’s dependable regarding freshness and taste!“

“This is my go-to poke bowl spot whenever I visit my parents in Rockville, and honestly, I feel like it’s a bit underrated because it’s so damn good. The salmon is always incredibly fresh, and I love pairing it with imitation crab.

My usual toppings are scallions, sesame seeds, sweet onions, mixed greens, spinach, lettuce, seaweed salad (a must), sweet corn, edamame, cucumbers, cilantro, masago, and sweet egg. The portions are generous, the flavors are consistently great, and the price is very fair for the quality you get.

“This is by far the best poke I have ever had in the DMV! As a West Coast native, I have to admit that the poke options I have been able to find since moving to the East Coast have been truly abysmal. Poke is a pretty simple lunch, so you would think that it would be fairly easy for places to get it right. You would be very, very wrong! From the first bite, however, Poke Papa blew me out of the water!! Not only is everything incredibly fresh, but they have SO many options—tons of marinated and unmarinated fish, toppings (the mango and pineapple are so yummy), crunchies, and sauces. I am honestly addicted and would eat here every day if I could—I've ordered from here nearly a dozen times in the span of two months already. This place is SO SO GOOD.“

“Food is good. They unfortunately charge extra for some toppings which is not stated on their physical menu. I was told I can choose my toppings at the end while the chef prepared my meal. When I got to the end they told me, adding an egg would be extra even though the egg is listed as a topping choice on the page where it asks you to choose between a Teriyaki bowl or a bento box.“

“The pictures are not up to to date and they have much less options now. There's no more poke bowls, dim sum, or sushi. Just rice/noodle bowls, and pho.

I got a fried rice bowl with teriyaki chicken, and it was very good. You get to pick that toppings, just like Chipotle. It's a weird choice, but I added potatoes to it, and they were SO good. Great favor, soft and with crispy skin.

The serving sizes are big and I couldn't finish. I was just a bit disappointed they didn't have poke bowls any more.“
