As a Latina, I’m pretty picky when it comes to tacos because I grew up eating them, and I crave them often. I decided to try this place because it was the closest one to me, and I’m so glad I did!

The tacos were absolutely delicious, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. My favorite part was the homemade tortillas. They’re so fresh and well-made that each taco only needs one tortilla, unlike many other places that use two because they fall apart. These tortillas held together perfectly and tasted amazing.

I definitely recommend this place, and I’ll definitely be coming back!

Finally, a place that sells an amazing variety of tacos, and individually. Been wanting to try it since they opened and finally decided to go in today—and it was Taco Tuesday!

The $12 Taco Tuesday platter was a great deal, and great for a heartier lunch. I can't wait to try some different tacos out next time.

They had on a World Cup game, so I can see a group coming in to watch as they enjoyed the game.

The tacos and guacamole are still delicious, but the atmosphere is brutal--the layout of the tables and kitchen is cramped and there are few decorative touches to soften the cafeteria atmosphere. I wish they could have found a roomier space. But beggars can't be choosers--this is still one of the few go-to spots to take visitors for lunch in CP.

I came here on a beautiful Saturday afternoon for lunch with my mommy, and the spot is so so cute. I ordered Birria tacos for both my mom and me and then chips and guac to share. Their food is delicious. The spot is super cozy and cute. We sat by the window and people-watched while devouring our food. I would definitely come back. The service was great. They brought the food to our table, and if we needed anything, they brought it to us, so we didn't even have to get up. I'll definitely come back!

Nice little restaurant with decent Mexican food. Soda choices are all canned it bottles. Noisy environment. Parking is about a block away. My tacos were pretty good. My companions were not happy with their veggie fajita and the meat fajitas only came with the meats, shrimp, beef and chicken. No choice if a single meat. Seating is uncomfortable so don't plan to stay for long.

Stopped in here a few days after the recent snowfall in the DMV, and I’m so glad we did. Food is phenomenal, and the staff are so kind and friendly. They braved the tricky roads and sidewalks in college park to be here, and they served up the best lengua I’ve had in the area. We frequent the location in DC, and this may have topped it on all fronts!

The food at Taqueria Habanero was amazing—full of flavor and clearly made with care. Everything tasted fresh, and the quality really stood out. The place also looked very clean and well maintained, which made the experience even better.

The only downside was the music. It didn’t really match the vibe of a taqueria, as church music was playing in the background. While it wasn’t a deal-breaker, a more fitting music choice would definitely enhance the overall atmosphere.

Overall, great food and a clean space—just a small tweak needed to improve the ambiance.

Absolutely delicious tacos. Pollo > Mushroom (so good, but a bit oily) > Bistec > Salmon > Tinga (bit bland). Enchilada was even better than the quesadilla. This tastes like the most authentic Mexican food we've had in Maryland.

Desserts are way overpriced for their size, though.

Habanero’s is between the College Park Metro stop and campus. We saw it, evoked memories of one in Arizona with same name. We ordered Chicken Tinga Tacos, Chicken Taco, Beef Taco along with a Beef Tounge Taco along with Guacamole & Chips. Food was good, flavors top notch, service efficient and pleasant. Only observation was the portion of Guacamole was ‘light’ for $8.00. If back in College Park would return.

The food here is so good! I found this place recently. I was really impressed and I’m a foodie! I saw some old reviews with complaints about changes but since this was my first visit everything was great. I tried the tacos, birria nachos, memelas and churros. All delicious!

I came to eat here the other day because I went to the old location before and I wanted to check out the new one … the food is not the same how it was before at the old store … What's going on here? Taqueria Habanero is supposed to be a taco spot, yet now your menu looks like a knockoff of your neighbor's. Why would anyone come to you for a copy when they can just go next door for the real thing? Stick to tacos - copying your neighbor's menu just makes you look desperate . I saw the menu ( value meals ? Loaded fries ? Chicken wings ? Late nights ?? ) by the way the portions of the food dont equal to the price you are paying

Had the enchiladas suizas and it was delicious would definitely order again. The sauce was creamy with a spiciness to it, but not too hot.
