Food was a little delayed coming out but that was made up by how good the food was and the hospitality shown by the owner. I would definitely recommend to others when they have Caribbean cravings.

I don't typically write reviews, but our whole group insisted we give some feedback here. We discovered Anagada last year (2023) and fell in love. My husband is from Trinidad, and the food was the best we've had in the states. Our favorites were the curry chicken, buss up shut, mac and cheese and the jerk chicken. It was hard not to order every week with our regular Friday night group.The last 3 times we've ordered this year though, things seemed drastically different. The curry chicken was watery and less flavorful. The mac and cheese was less cheesy. The jerk chicken was drier. We gave it a few tries and had a consistently disappointing experience. We're typically pretty forgiving when it comes to food, but this was enough to make us pursue other choices. So please, if you read these reviews - if there was an intentional change in recipe or chef we implore you to go back to your 5 star quality! We miss you!

I paid $130 for 4 Oxtail platers that were sweet like they added sugar to the recipe and don't taste anything like real Jamaican oxtail. The rice and peas were both extremely dry. They advertise like they stack more food in the side cups where they put the side of dry rice. The portions were smaller than they advertised and the taste was just okay.

This was hands down the best Caribbean spot in Maryland , and I travel a distance . But two weeks ago when I came the jerk Chicken did not taste like how it normally taste same , I was disappointed

My curry chicken was watery. The doubles was hella trash and nasty. I will carribean palace. But I will give their sandwotcheba try. I tried to change my order and give the other girl my curry chicken to get the stew or jerk lol. I will try this place 1 more time. But definitely I'm staying away from the curry and doubles.

WoahThat's my review... woah. I gave the Atmosphere 4 stars because it is tucked away behind a business park. I saw that the ratings here were good and drove through to try it. But wow, it's 20 minutes before the lunch close (Arrived at 1:40pm) and wasn't sure what I was getting into. The place is packed. That speaks for itself, 20 minutes before lunch close. The first thing that happened as we walked through the door was that we were greeted by the owner. He later went on to ensuring my food was brought out asap, as he saw my lunch buddy was already eating. He was doing this for all the guests that had any sort of wait.But then... the 'woah'. I love caribbean food. I do, I love oxtail, I love rice and beans, I love stewed chicken... but damn if this wasn't the best darn caribbean food I have ever had. I stole a fry from my buddy, great fry. But then I got my food and tried the stewed chicken... the flavors... the mac and cheese side... wow, that might be the best mac and cheese I've ever had. I could only get through half of it before the itis kicks in, but that's fine, I wanted to bring this home so my family could taste it.I overheard they are making a juice bar, the no sugar added kind. Owner was super friendly and chatted us up. But hot damn, that food.. was.. woah. It actually makes the fact that it's tucked away in the back of a business park that much better... it made it a hole in the wall, a diamond in the rough, a gem.Will be back.

This place is hands down the best Caribbean cuisine I've ever had in Maryland. Owner was really friendly and professional and gave his advice on few items we asked about. Available seating, you order through a touch screen computer at the front counter, made it easy, no pressure to rush. In a low key location. Good sign seeing multiple people picking up to-go orders before closing. Wish these guys had a location in Frederick, MD (would blow Jerk N Jive out the water). We ordered 2 bottles of DG Jamaican bottled Cream Soda, Buss up shut bread (really good), Beef patties mild&spicy (off the chain), Jerk Mac n cheese and regular side of Mac(reason I'll be back), Chipotle Jerk Chicken sandwich w/chips(Delicious), Fish filet (Red Snapper) sandwich w/chips(Delicious), Boneless Curry Chicken meal w/2 sides(So damn Good), Boneless Stew Chicken meal w/2 sides(So damn good). My girlfriend is West Indian, her family is from Trinidad/Tobago area and when it comes to this cuisine she knows her stuff and definitely gives her Stamp of Approval as do I. Anyone to leave a bad review, go elsewhere because everything tasted amazing here, no complaints.
