Po Boy Jim bar and Grill

I came to this location on 6/11 in the evening. Upon entering I saw two employees standing around. A young lady with a big Afro greeted me and sat me down at a table. She then brought me a cup of water after a minute of being seated. I looked at the menu briefly as I already had in my mind what I wanted. Now mind you I’m the only customer in this establishment. The young lady stood behind the counter as I waited for her to come to my table to take my order. I even heard her tell her coworker as she looked outside “ I hope they not coming in here”. That already told me what I needed to know. These young folks are lazy and just want to make easy money. They lack customer service skills. You only had a couple hours until closing and you’re worried about getting business? Again this place was dead! And now I’m seeing why. I looked out the window and watched as other people walked to the other businesses. Well needless to say she didn’t come back to my table she ended up going to the bathroom. At that point my time was being wasted, so I left. I ended up spending my money elsewhere. I was hoping to try this spot out but after last night I don’t see myself patronizing this business again. Your staff can make or break your business.

Had a great time at PoBoy Jim in Columbia. Our server Jordan was very attentive to our every need and was quite excellent and professional. He made sure that our drinks were never empty and he said that if he could see our ice he wasn’t doing it right

I am not sure why this place is so empty. The food is excellent. Prices are a little high. I spent $24 for a chicken and shrimp poboy. Customer service was lacking as there were only 2 customers seated, and it took a few minutes to take my order. You would think that the server would be on top of you if you are one of the few customers in there. I can tell they have a brisk online take out business. Multiple food pickups while I was there.

Went here after seeing great reviews. I'm here to add mine! The food was delicious!! Everything was seasoned really well! The crab poppers were top quality! (sorry about the skimp pics, we dug right in)..This is a must try!

Not bad but not the greatest. I’m confused with this concept. They are called a bar and grill but there is no sit down bar inside. Considering the location, I don’t think it should be a sit down restaurant, but rather a carry out concept with seating. Perhaps self checkout kiosks and maybe a modern day jukebox. It just didn’t feel like a sit down restaurant to me and that’s fine.Food: ordered the shrimp po boy with a side salad. Came up to $19 ?. I personally don’t think it was work the money but the shrimp tasted good. Po boy was $17 and salad was a $2 up charge…Atmosphere: decor is kinda weird. Upside down lamps on the ceilings and random window panes. I think a good wallpaper of Louisiana inspo and wall art would really elevate the inside. Music was ok.Service: polite and attentive. Great customer service.

So I got the salmon fettuccine and crab bites. The crab bites awesome, but the fettuccine was plain. Literally a piece of meat and noodles. No mushrooms, onions , scallions or anything in the pasta. Not worth $44.00. I’ve been here before and I usually get the same thing, wings which are always good, but I wanted to try something new.

OMG this is a true gem. Please help yourself and try the bang bang shrimp and chicken Po Boy! The service and atmosphere is wonderful. Nieisha is the best. She’s a true Brand Ambassador.

I really want to commend Dialo and Gavin who are great employees with great customer service skills. This was my first time here and I really enjoyed it. I especially want to commend Naisha, their manager, because you’re only as good as your leader. Great experience overall.

Decided to give this place a try and the food was a 10/10. We started out with the deviled eggs with fried shrimp which were amazing. For our entree we got a district and chicken poboy. They were very generous with the chicken and toppings I couldn’t finish it, the bun was buttery and everything was seasoned to perfection. Our server was dialo and he was very attentive not overly attentive though. I do think they should just have people order at the register and sit theirselves but I will be back.

The atmosphere was nice. Our server Gavin had great customer service, very patience and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was good I even did an order to go. I will be returning and telling others about the restaurant.
