Walden Country Club Reviews
Course has a great layout. Unfortunately, the fringes and the greens are so poorly maintained that reading the greens is an absolute adventure, and not a good one. Course has great potential, though.
Incredible commitment to preserving the natural environment. The rough is so healthy it has become its own ecosystem, the back-nine fairways are refreshingly open to interpretation, and the par 3 tee boxes have a rustic charm you just don’t find at overly maintained clubs. Every hole feels like an expedition rather than a round of golf. Highly recommend bringing extra balls and perhaps a machete. Truly unlike any course I’ve played.
great course with good conditions.

Walden Country Club is a golf course and restaurant known for hosting the annual golf tournament benefiting Marines Helping Heroes. The restaurant offers excellent customer service, with friendly staff who make guests feel special. Customers have noted that one of the sous chefs creates a welcoming atmosphere, enhancing the dining experience. The golf course features challenging fairways and requires players to stay on the cart paths during rain. Recently, it has shown improvements in course upkeep, with new carts available for players. While the price point has raised some concerns, the course remains a challenging 18 holes with narrow openings that can open up. Despite occasional obstacles, the course is well-maintained and continues to attract visitors.
