I used to love this place, but this time I was absolutely DISGUSTED. The barista poured caramel INTO HER HAND, then scooped it onto my drink with a spoon. She wasn't even wearing gloves. The same dirty hand she just used to wipe the counter. It felt like a slap to the face! I am just so dumbfounded by why she would do this? Why wouldn't you just pour the caramel onto the coffee normally? I hope management takes action about this.

I'm still trying to un-see what I saw here. The young woman who was making my coffee put the whipped cream on top, then poured caramel IN HER BARE HAND, then scooped out some from the pool of caramel in her hand with a spoon and drizzled it on top of the whipped cream. I'm flabbergasted. No glove and no purpose either. Who would do this? It didn't save her time. Why wouldn't she just drizzle it directly onto the whipped cream? Why put it into a puddle in her unwashed, ungloved hand and THEN scoop it from her hand to the drink? I should have reported it, but was too stunned and didn't want them to offer to make me a new one because I sure wouldn't drink anything from this place again. I literally threw it in the trash and, after having gone to this place occasionally for about seven years, will never be back. Please - management, train your staff that that's unsanitary, gross, and... well... weird.

Always enjoy the lox bagel. Not too many places carry a skinny bagel which I love. I love that you can order ahead because some days are really busy.

I ordered a large valentines themed drink with oatmilk and decaf. However, after sipping it for around 20min and not finishing even a quarter of it, I started to feel some stomach cramping. I felt fine before I entered the establishment, and had lunch over 2 hours beforehand.Thinking I just needed to go to the bathroom, I did, but the stomach cramping and queasiness remained. Wanting to calm my stomach down, I told them about how the drink made me feel, and if I could have some peppermint tea to calm my stomach down.One of the baristas said, "Hey it happens" probably inferring that I ate something before coming to the establishment that made me queasy, or I did something to warrant my current condition, instead of the drink I was unable to really even drink due to how it was affecting me.They still charged me half of the value of the tea ($2) and did not compensate me for the other drink I paid for and hardly drank ($7). I am also a repeat customer, but am considering not frequenting after this experience.Later, since I sat in for a while, I noticed they were cleaning out a coffee container. Maybe the decaf? I also started to feel better after drinking the peppermint tea.All I can hope is that they checked the decaf container, the oatmilk, and whatever else they used to make the drink to make sure that nothing happened on their end that was preventable.
