“This location is the best one I've seen since the original Roy Rogers days in the 70's/80's in the DC area. It's even cleaner and super friendly. The food... Yeah it's the good ole Double R Bar for me with the fixin Bar. Great location I recommend! Thank you excellent staff!“
“It was our first visit here and met up with a musician friend that’s a fan of this place. I was surprised at the wide variety of the menu. Very creative and elevated bar food with nice presentation and flavors. The service was first class and friendly.I did find the parking lot a little dicey. The interior is a little dated,but surfaces were clean. We will certainly come back. I’ve played music in a lot of bars, but didn’t eat at them because a lot of bars don’t have it together in the kitchen. “They have a very good sloppy Joe with big portions. The prices are decent. Everyone was nice, both the waitress and the customers. The restaurant had a birthday cake for a frequent customer and gave away the extra slices after the party left. The atmosphere isn't bad, but there's a lot on walls and it's kind of distracting.“
“The employees Misty and Ashley know exactly what customer service is at this particular location. At night time mind you when the shift is nearing end and still happily made me a burger even when possibly already cleaned the grills for the night...just a friendly experience soaring high for the customer service!!! “Great place! The quality to price ratio is insane. $2 dogs with the works! And they're delicious, easily worth more than the price you pay. One thing to note is that they are cash only. My first time here I didn't know that and before I could even get my wallet out to pay, my dog was done. Since I didn't have cash they just gave it to me. Super nice and not the least bit expected. I've been back a few times since and of course bring cash, plus extra to leave a healthy tip. Get their signature dog with the brown mustard, onions, and chili. The fries are great, too. I haven't tried anything else on the menu yet because this is my go-to place when I'm craving a quality dog and so I don't show up here to order a burger. But I'm sure whatever you order will more than satisfy you. Some reviews are pointing out the small sized dogs. They're small but not "bite sized". They're an "okay" size, just don't order only 1 and expect to be full. But these people saying it's expensive??? Absolutely not. Yeah the dogs are on the smaller size but they're $2 with everything. If you won't be full with just one, get two or three! Still a bargain and now your belly will be full. Where else these days can you get good quality, tasty food to fill your stomach for $4-$6? Nowhere else that I can think of.“
