So, I been wanting to go to this restaurant since we moved to the Cumberland area. Well, I went today (Father's Day) and I was unimpressed. The service was subpar, my ribs were cold and it just seemed like the food had been sitting around and they just threw it on the plate. For paying top restaurant prices, the food and service were not up to par. You would think on a day like Father's day, this place would have been on point. Disappointing to say the least.

I got the captain's platter and it was absolutely awesome and I also got the broiled option and not fried. After we got done eating I stepped next door to the winery and bought a couple bottles of port to take home. Can't wait to go back!

The crab dip is excellent! Enjoyed the patio in the later evening with our dog. The atmosphere was chill and friendly. Drinks were enjoyed. The Captains platter was nicely split between two and an excellent variety of delicious seafood.

Food is good, BUT..................
My wife and I ordered takeout, but the amount they gave us was a very, very, very small portion. And it was expensive for the portion we got. We had to order more food from another restaurant to satisfy us. Will never order takeout ever again. Overrated.

The most disappointing ribs ever. They don’t add enough salt or seasoning on them and they are dry and SMALL. All the portions are so small.

The pull pork sandwich was pretty plain too, you can only taste the barbecue sauce but no spices on the pork.

Someone in my party ordered the crabcake sandwich and they said it was good.
All sandwiches are small and come with chips which is so meh.

Maybe the seafood is their strong but BBQ is definitely NOT.

This place is just getting started and deserves a chance. The bartender was outstanding when we were there. Enjoyed the beer and a side of fries.

It takes a lot for me to write a bad review, but after our experience at The Crabby Pig, I feel compelled to share our disappointment. My husband and I are big seafood lovers, so we were excited to try this place. Unfortunately, our visit was far from satisfactory.

First, the service was lacking. We arrived and were informed that there was a wait for indoor seating, which we were fine with. We opted to sit outside to avoid the wait, but even then, our experience went downhill. Despite being one of the first parties to sit outside, we waited 30 minutes before anyone even brought us menus or took our drink order. Meanwhile, two other larger parties who arrived after us were promptly served, received their appetizers, and were well on their way through their meals before we were even acknowledged. Sitting outside in the heat with our four-year-old, this was incredibly frustrating.

When our food finally arrived, we were hoping it would be worth the wait, but it was anything but. My husband ordered the Captain’s Platter, which included a crabcake, scallops, cod, broccoli, and a potato. Unfortunately, none of the seafood was even remotely enjoyable. The crabcake was bland and mushy, the scallops and cod tasted off as if they were not fresh, and the overall quality was comparable to gas station seafood, which is shocking for a place specializing in seafood.

I ordered a pound of crab legs, expecting a delicious meal, but they arrived cold, and the portion felt much smaller than what I paid for. The quality was so poor that I couldn’t help but think I would have had a better experience at Red Lobster.

We spent over $100 on this meal and were thoroughly disappointed. As avid seafood lovers, we had much higher expectations and, sadly, The Crabby Pig did not deliver. We will not be returning.

Nice place. I only had crab soup and BBQ pulled pork sandwich. The soup was really excellent. Pulled pork was good but nothing special.

The Crabby Pug is Awesome!! Great service...Madison was amazing. The food had great flavor & tasted great. The hushpuppies were some of the best I've ever tasted. The menu has something for everyone's taste buds. Check out their FB for specials. Definitely a hidden gem in Cumberland. Stop and give them a try. You won't be disappointed. I'll definitely be back.
