Place was packed but our waitress was still amazing. I ordered the chicken and dumpling soup with the chicken parmesan. My daughter got the steak and cheese sub and it was literally as long as her forearm! Huge sandwich! Stopped at the Bakery to pay and got cinnamon rolls to bring home.

This place is a staple in the Cumberland area. It has a long history and a die hard fan base. The cheese steak is the star of the show and what makes it so good is the seasoned lettuce. But there is not a bad choice on the menu. It covers diner basics to home-cooked to Italian. They bake their own bread and thier desserts are top notch. They do have a bakery counter for when you leave and you need to take something yummy home.

D'Atri's is a great mom and pop style Italian and deli restaurant. The food is solid Italian comfort food, great subs and sandwiches and some general American cuisine. Not a stuffy gourmet place but a welcoming place to go with family and friends. The baked goods are made on premises and are excellent. The sub salads are a winner as are the meatball subs and fish sandwiches.

The best food ever! Such a varied menu and always consistently delicious food. I basically only go once a year after attending the Buckwheat Festival in WV. I am never disappointed with the food, service, or atmosphere of the restaurant! Clean environment; restrooms too! My very favorite restaurant- bar none!
