The food is great. The atmosphere is great. Everyone who works there is kind. This restaurant is also child friendly. We will definitely be back.

Based on the reviews, Rio Grande | Mexican is a great restaurant in a strip mall with great prices and yummy food. The food is very good, and the guacamole is fantastic. They make the guacamole in front of you too, if asked. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and the service is excellent. The place is clean, bright, and welcoming. Toreados are excellent, and chips, salsa, and guacamole are all good. A nice quesadilla or some tacos would work well. The food is served quickly. Some orders have been messed up a few times, but it is still all good. Carnitas and carne asada were on the bland, unseasoned side. One time, an order of beef tips got chicken instead, and the service was poor, but an update said everything was great on a return visit. Overall, it is a pretty good find and definitely worth trying if passing through.
