Was road tripping through the area and decided to check out the local beers. Had a great chat with the owner, loved the beer and enjoyed the vibe. All around great place and would absolutely recommend a visit.
Great brewery in downtown Cumberland. Spacious and new inside, with plenty of seating outside.
My favorite beers were the Philosophical New England IPA and Side Chick Pale Lager.
Easy access from the highway and plenty of free parking for a quick detour.
Will definitely hit Dig Deep next time I'm heading up to the mountains.
One of the best breweries in the area. Great ambiance, with indoor and outdoor seating. Often they will have live music and/or a food truck. They also have some board games available. It’s also dog friendly!
No food, but good bathroom and beer. Excellent spot to finish off a bike ride on the C&O or GAP.

This is a fantastic place… the beer is great, and the owners are knowledgeable and kind. I highly recommend stopping by this place and trying the Bearded Double IPA! They also have live music occasionally, which just adds to the atmosphere.

I traveled into Cumberland from NC this weekend to visit relatives. I noticed the big footers building and decided to see what was in that area, that's when I discovered Dig Deep. This is a great brewery for locals and out of towners! Connor was our beertender and gave us great customer service and recommendations on which beers to order. This brewery is a bright place with lots of sunlight coming through its many windows. If you're around the canal area definitely stop by for a pour. I'll be by next time I'm in town!
