The entrance is quite odd. You walk in directly in front of the restrooms. There is a door to the left and the door to the restaurant on the right. Walking into the restaurant, the bar seating is directly in front. There is kind of a hallyway with two tables & 2 booths. If you go down that hall there is a larger seating area in the back. We chose a booth in the hallway. Our server came quickly and took our drink order. I got the "sweet" tea, which is not sweet at...
Was in town to photograph 1309 and stopped at Kline's for lunch. The parking lot was nearly full so I took that as a good sign. Ordered the roast beef dinner with mashed potatoes. Food arrived very quickly; it was hot and tasted very good. Server was very friendly.
Was in town to photograph steam locomotive 1309. Drove by Kline's and saw the parking lot was nearly full so thought that was a good sign. Had the roast beef dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy. The service was fast and the server very friendly. The food arrived fast and was hot and tasted good. The price was lower than what I had paid in town the day before. Made a good choice for dinner.
