1st waitress brought menu. Waited about 10 minutes and she came back to get our order. Asked what we would like to my reply hot beef sandwich mashed potatoes a d gravy with side salad. Wife go the same. Had to tell her and we would like to Pepsi's for our drinks. Well about 5 minutes out comes salads and drinks by another person. Then about 2 minutes later our food with yet another person. Food was cold. Decided to eat anyway since u didn't know when or who was coming...
As soon as I opened the door for my wife and we walked inside, we knew we were going to eat in our dining room away from home. The ambiance was family oriented; all the patrons seemed to be friendly; and the staff were outstanding. The food was cooked with love (we could taste every drop). My wife and I appreciate your kindness and genuine hospitality.
I have tried so many restaurants that claim to be “classic American diners” and have been disappointed. This is the real deal. Time capsule full of Americana, good food, and good prices. Place was full of locals. Wish we lived close enough to come back.
