We stopped in here on our way through back home. It’s a cute restaurant and clean inside. However the waitress was not attentive and did not get any refills even though she had time to stand at the counter looking at her phone. There were several other employees playing with their hair in the mirror by the kitchen and playing on their phones. The food was ok. It was typical diner food. The restroom is located in the basement and I didn’t check that out.
This place is lost in time. Your basic greasy spoon diner that serves really good home cooked meals for super cheap. I had the two pork chop dinner with mashed potatoes and green beans for $10.50. Anywhere else would be double that for the same meal. Looks like the decor has not changed since it opened (1970’s?) and the clientele were all seniors. Good place to eat if you are on a fixed income. Service was fine but the tables are fairly packed together making it feel a bit cramped....
