Every weekend we're at the farmers market, we pick up something new. Even before we discovered a gluten sensitivity in the family, we would pick their baked goods for their flavor and texture. Now that it's a necessity, we've been exploring their frozen savory options, like their delicious lasagna with locally sourced meat. It was impeccable. Highly recommend to anyone, gluten sensitive or not!
You will not go wrong with ANYTHING you get here. The nicest owners!! You guys are amazing <3
The best gluten free scones I have ever had!
The baked goods are amazing. Can't believe they are gluten free. The owners are also very kind. Highly recommend!!!
Been GF for a few years now. I have tried different sweet/savory GF items from many, many different stores, and I can confidently say that Say Vrai is one of the best. They do such a good job of making their food yummy and not just for GF standards. Best GF pizza dough hands down! Their scones are amazing, and I love that they have seasonal items along with holiday offerings.
Delicious!
I was diagnosed with Celiac last year, and I was so excited to see your stand at the Old Town Alexandria farmers market!!! Finding fresh gluten free anything in this area has been difficult, and I’m so happy to have a place to come to now every Saturday!!! The scones and bagels are amazing, and I can’t wait to try more!!!!
I had their Mushroom Ravioli yesterday—restaurant quality!! Absolutely delicious with just a drizzle of olive oil on top. I’ll be back. Can’t believe it took me so long to find Say Vrai!!
Vary nasty way of communication with me , they are not polite
they do not confirm and then call asking to pick up cake that I did not order I do not recommend them for anyone
This is a hidden gem and we have it right here in Damascus! I tried their chocolate cake, scones, muffins, and pizza crust - each one was a standout—moist, flavorful, and perfectly textured. The bakery offers a great variety, including dairy-free and vegan options, ensuring there’s something for everyone. The staff is friendly and knowledgable. If you frequent farmers markets, you may see them there too! Don’t miss this awesome addition to the Damascus community!

The food is amazing here. As a Celiac, it has quite literally been life changing to have a restaurant like this locally.
I literally don’t have enough words for how wonderful Say Vrai is. Not only are their gf goodies the best in the business (as a pasta fiend and super sweet tooth I can attest that I’ve tried basically every other option in the DC metro area and they consistently come out on top), but Erica and Patrick are two of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. I sent a last minute request for my son’s birthday cake - and they made magic happen to give my little dude the best day. They are a local company with a heart of gold - and I’ve gained like 5 lbs since I discovered them, haha! Try them - you won’t regret it :)
Berry scones are amazing even if you are not GF. Love this celiac friendly shop.
The food at Say Vrai is simply Delicious without fail - and my family has tried nearly every item at this point! They make what is unquestionably the most delicious chocolate chip cookie I have ever tried in my life, and I am including all the dairy and gluten filled cookies I had before developing food allergies. The people who work here are lovely and so helpful in every possible way in every interaction. My one and only complaint is the unpredictability of their hours of operations as I have TWICE driven the half hour here only to find a dark storefront - I STRONGLY recommend the operators consider some method of letting fans like myself know they will be closed during what would be their normal operating hours.
Great products, we wish they would open a store in Rockville or do home delivery
