Quick, delicious, old school breakfast/lunch spot with friendly workers, good portions and fresh ingredients. I'll be back again when I'm up that way 100%

Have been trying to order rooster balls for MONTHS. Apparently they are always out. TAKE THEM OFF THE MENU IF YOU NEVER OFFER THEM!!!!

If you're looking for fresh, homemade fried chicken, this is the place. Place your order and they cook it, so it takes about 10 minutes. And it is worth it.

My son never had their chicken and insisted on going to a chain. Nada. I overruled him. He was not impressed by the small lobby and counter. But we didn't come here for ascetics. We came here for chicken.

Got the 8 piece meal, complete with cole slaw and fries. The slaw tastes extremely similar to how my mom made it...wow! The rolls are fresh. The fries are ok, and I would upgrade next time to home fries. Not a big deal, though.

The chicken was so different from the chain restaurants and in a good way. Sort of like grandma made. So good that my son ate 3 pieces and asked a few days later to go back for more.

Definitely recommend.

Rachel makes a fabulous grilled cheese! Diana has topped that somehow!! A MUST try! They’re also efficient with time. Both have great morning smiles. 😊

I arrived at 6:30 pm wanted a burger and the said no because their policy is close the grill half hour before closing the manager was rude and refused to make me a burger after we spent around 70$ in food
Now I have to go elsewhere to get a burger for my daughter

Excellent Fried chicken! Their only seating is outside. Great for a evening pick up dinner to go.

It’s so interesting to me the low stars I have been coming to this place for over 8 years. Everyone is nice and kind and I will say that some of the people who have left poor reviews I’ve seen here regularly as I typically eat here at least 5 times a week. So they need to get their life together and stop coming if they don’t like the food.

They used to have the most AMAZING burgers!! Flame grilled with a buttered bun!! This is what happens when foreigners take over!! They ruin everything

Breakfast items were okay. My bagel wasn't toasted and the sausage was warm. But I did hear that the other lunch items were fantastic. Prices were great too.

If you live in Damascus, you already know.
But if you’re just passing through and craving fried chicken, Red Rooster is absolutely worth the stop. I haven’t tried their sandwiches or sides—because every time I go, I stick with what they do best: the fried chicken.

It’s fresh, never soggy, with crispy skin and juicy, flavorful meat that actually tastes like real chicken. The pieces do run a little small, but the 8-piece family meal was the same price as Popeyes—and so, so much better. No comparison on quality.

Mainly a carryout joint, but there are a few picnic tables out front under cover if you can’t wait to dig in. Red Rooster doesn’t try to be fancy—it just gets fried chicken right.
