I had high hopes for a long-standing roadside shack specializing in fried chicken. They offer a good selection of chicken platters (as well as burgers and such) but the food just did not live up to my hopes. The chicken was not really seasoned. The sides ( I had mac+cheese and macaroni salad) could have come from a grocery store deli counter.

I'm not sure what to say. The food was very disappointing. I ordered a family meal, which consisted of 12 pc mixed chicken, fries, coleslaw, rolls, and an extra side of mac and cheese. Chicken was very poor quality and overdone. Mac and Cheese had to have been sitting so long that the noodles were chalky. Coleslaw was honestly the only thing that ended up being edible.

The bacon had been sitting in a huge mound of bacon in a tray, and was room temperature. It wasnt reheated, or thrown on the grill to make it warm again. It was overly salty and oily. The omlette was decent.
