Stone Silo is new but is one of the best breweries I’ve been to in the Howard/montgomery/frederick county region and that’s saying a lot given all the good beer in the region. Seriously for a new place they are just delicious. The cherry porter and oatmeal stout were exactly as a hard beer should be. The property is also pretty. All in all it is now on the list to stop at if I’m driving by my airy on I-70. They are only like 5 minutes off of I-70 so very easy to get to

Nice setting to drink beer. Rustic barn-like taproom. They had a BBQ food truck which we did not try. You can also bring your own food if you prefer. They had a nice selection of about a dozen beers on tap, including an unflavored, alcoholic seltzer that can be flavored with various syrups.

What a great addition to the area!! The beers are delicious, the decor is warm and inviting and the service was great! They have a BBQ food truck on-site that has some great pulled pork and you have to try the loaded tots! The prices for the beer are very affordable and they have some seltzers as well. If you’re looking to try something new, or maybe find your next go-to spot, you can’t go wrong with Stone Silo Brewery!

I had the pleasure of visiting the new Stone Silo Brewery last night.The place did not disappoint.As we were leaving, the owner of the brewery, Don Katzenberger, introduced himself and thanked us for coming in. The place was packed but Don & his lovely wife went out of their way to ensure that everyone was having a great time.I can’t wait to come visit again!5 out of 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic addition to the Damascus area…FINALLY a brewery closer to Clarksburg and equidistant to Urbana! We met friends from Urbana there on Saturday and snagged the coveted “fireplace couch spot”. Really enjoyed the selection of beer and the seltzers were also great. BBQ truck provided delectable food options. Can’t wait to go back!Looking forward to catching a gorgeous sunset there sometime soon ?

A very cozy and friendly place. The staff there are amazing and the owners both stopped by our table to say “hi “. The decor is well done featuring the stonewall of the original farm, and of course the silo. They recently added a nice outdoor area with picnic tables and fire pits. I’m looking forward to hanging out there one night. They also have a semi permanent food truck there from Tony’s BBQ with some great food, just slightly more limited hours at this point in time. I had a nice chat with the Brewer too and he said there’s been a big demand!

This place has a lot of potential to be a great brewery. New building, new location, friendly staff, good beer. I would love to go with 5 stars but if folks are new and don't have the slightest idea what to try at least try to figure out what they like to give them beer close to their taste buds. Try to stay away from everything is good. This may be true but very biased and I definitely ended up with a beer that was not good to me on my flight. Overall I will be going back and hopefully this upgrades to a 5 star place (to me) because I wish there was a 4 1/2 option. Everyone else you will surely enjoy this place.
