I have been going to Tom and Rays since the old location. What makes them stand out is the cost conscience menu, fresh tasting food, and a staff mostly local high school kids that are professional with can do attitude. Right now I’m raving about something as simple as stewed tomatoes as a complementary side dish. Their breakfast foods including creamed chipped beef fresh. Our family loves the small town feel that we get at Tom and Ray’s. The owners and staff are so friendly, and the food is always great. I’m the only one in my family that can’t have gluten. They make an awesome gluten free pancake, and the rest of my crew loves their fried chicken and burgers. Their coffee is perfection, too! It’s our number ONE place to eat out as a family! (Not easy to get that rating with this family of 7.)
My hubbie and I visited this spot for breakfast. I had the chicken and waffles and they were very good. My husband had eggs and home fries and hash. The meats are locally sourced for the most part and the staff was friendly. It was nice and clean.
