Our recent fave: their Cabernet Reserve which has hints of mocha and cherry with a smooth satisfying finish. Highly recommend.
Fantastic wines and great events.
This was a cute spot. The vibe is great and the wine is delicious. Such a gorgeous drive out and the staff was very friendly. I went during a super slow time so I didn't get to experience a lot of their fun stuff but I had the chance the relax and enjoy the view, which I appreciated very much!
The server was not at all friendly. She was giving us weird looks as if we didn't belong there. We felt the disgust in her looks for serving us. She was definitely racially judging us. It was very insulting.not going back there that is for sure.
Great wine, great food truck and great music! Lots of dogs and kids but the ambience was just right. We tried two different flights and bought a bottle of Pinot Grigio to bring home
Good wine with friendly staff. Visited on the way back from a larger trip. Glad I did because the wine hit the spot on a warm summer day. Dog friendly!
I recently visited Sugarloaf Winery and had the pleasure of being assisted by Tanner. His service was exceptional from start to finish. Tanner was incredibly knowledgeable about the wines and made excellent recommendations based on my preferences. His friendly and approachable demeanor made the experience even more enjoyable. He took the time to explain the history and unique qualities of each wine, which added a lot to our tasting experience. Tanner's passion for wine and commitment to great service truly stood out. I highly recommend visiting Sugarloaf Winery and asking for Tanner – you won't be disappointed!
My wife and I got engaged here infront of my family and kids in our family years ago. This place is family friendly. The wine called Anticipation is worth the trip! They welcome your business, and leave you alone. Unlike Windridge Vineyards in Darnestown who are the the SS of wineries, Sugarloaf welcomes one and all, including children. There’s no “adult only section”. They’re very traditional family oriented non-woke winery. They welcome everyone. Go to Sugarloaf this year! Summer is still ON!
The scenery was beautiful but I was very unimpressed with the fact that I overheard staff speaking negatively about each other, additionally I feel as though for the price you can find nicer venues. I hope to see a culture shift for this business in the future.
A great winery especially after a hike. You can purchase glass or bottles of wine as well as a flight for more variety. The venue is beautiful and peaceful. I went on a Sunday and there was live music which added to the atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I recently visited Sugarloaf Winery and had an absolutely delightful experience! Their sangria is a must-try—it’s incredibly refreshing, especially on a hot day. The perfect blend of fruity flavors makes it a fantastic choice for cooling down and unwinding. The winery itself exudes a relaxing Sunday vibe, with live music adding to the serene atmosphere. Whether you’re looking to enjoy a laid-back afternoon or simply savor some excellent sangria, Sugarloaf Winery is the place to be. Highly recommended!

Amazing vibe, great for groups, especially compared to nearby wineries that have a more pretentious feel (Windridge)
