“I was there last. night (Thursday) and the Octopus was delightful as was my 'ordinary' salmon plate with their delicious veggies....The home sparking pink wine served in an unusual goblet was ample and perfect (a substitute for the more expensive Brut when they didn't have theirs cooled._ The alternative was just as good. I'm no connoisseur but I know a good meal when I'm finished. Food ample and the less expensive dishes looked just as appetizing as the more expensive ones. I want to try almost everything once....”

Debbie, the owner (and now part-time head-bopper), greeted us like we were long-lost cousins showing up late to the family BBQ. When I told her it was our first visit, she gave me a playful bop on the head with our table number and asked, “What took you so long?” Touché, Debbie. Touché. Now onto the burgers… and yes, they deserve their own paragraph. I ordered the A Jazzed Up Swiss Burger — and let me tell you, this was no run-of-the-mill meat puck. We're talking Gruyère so rich it probably pays taxes in Switzerland, Black Forest ham that must’ve taken a first-class flight in, baby bella mushrooms sautéed to perfection, and a tangy smear of whole-grain mustard tying it all together. Every bite said, “Sir, this is not fast food — this is fine dining between buns.” My wife had the Paris Burger — imagine garlic-kissed beef topped with brie so creamy it probably auditioned for a romance film, with balsamic onions adding the drama. Let’s just say she stopped talking mid-bite. That’s how you know it’s good. The vibe? Casual but classy, with staff who treat you like family (the good side of the family, not the ones who borrow your tools and never bring them back). And yes… in a moment of grilled beef-fueled euphoria, I may have proclaimed myself the Burger King. Debbie gave me a look. I instantly realized my mistake. This isn’t that kind of burger joint. This is a burger experience. Saying "Burger King" here is like bringing boxed wine to a French vineyard. Long story short — go to MELT. Go now. Go often. “Tuscarora Mill (Tuskies) Restaurant went above and beyond to make our son's High School Graduation lunch special (he is first-generation), even though i only booked a reservation the day before. They phoned me to check his name and printed out special menus as a keepsake and gave him a gift at the end. They were attentive and understanding that by the time he came to eat the stress and excitement of the day suddenly hit him and he was exhausted affecting his appetite. They happily got him a box to take it home without any judgement. The food was tasty and well cooked and staff helpful and kind (they even gave us a choice of table). The main dishes are on the pricier side, so it is why we chose it to mark his occasion. However, we will be back for drinks and appetisers in future.”

“Booking Sage Cakery to make our wedding cake was one of the highlights of the wedding. As someone that loves cakes, I was so looking forward to trying Sage on my wedding day and I was thoroughly impressed by the quality of their cakes. My husband generally doesn’t like cake as much, but even he loved the ones they made for us. The blackberry sage was a huge hit, and the decoration on the cake could not have been more stunning. It was exactly what we asked for and more. They worked with us too to add a topper my mom made for us and it looked perfect on top of the beautiful cake. We can’t wait to get another cake from them on our anniversary!”

“This place is a hidden gem! The owner is the one who took care of my order and he was the sweetest man! He recommended the lamb schwarma and the falafel. And they were incredible!! Seriously the best Mediterranean food I’ve had! I really appreciated that the owner explained that he makes all of the food to order and nothing it “ready to eat” because he wants to provide the freshest, best food to his customers. There’s a great shared courtyard area right out front with picnic tables. Highly recommend! And the owner gave me a taste of the baklava - it is sooooo good!”
