The Comus Inn Reviews
AMAZING food by Chef Sammy D!! Hands down the BEST pierogi. And the space was gorgeous. Highly recommended for food, atmosphere and overall experience.
The Comus Inn charged me $100 for a canceled reservation. I was forced to cancel a reservation for a party of four for Thanksgiving when a member of our party was suddenly hospitalized. His situation is serious and his wife can not leave him. I contacted Comus immediately when he was admitted. This was more than 24 hours prior to the reservation. My husband and I were traveling from out of town and canceled our trip because of the emergency. Comus refused my request for a waiver...read full review
Went to Oktoberfest today and it was wonderful! We got there early and so we decided to let the 3 kids (all 3 year olds) kick the soccer ball around in the field at the parking lot. Suddenly all 3 found a yellow jacket next and man did they swarm and sting multiple times. As soon as we got away from all of them, I ran over to tell the staff at the hostess station. They were SO helpful and quick getting us a bag of ice for each child, offering bandages, wraps, access to all their...read full review

The Comus Inn offers enjoyable brunch and dinner options, known for its delicious food and excellent service. The General Manager and staff provide attentive and friendly service, although there have been some recent challenges with busyness. The bagel and lox dish remains a highlight, often compared favorably to New York's offerings. Guests have praised the crab toast, duffle pancakes, BLTA, smash burger, and eggs Benedict as well. While the food is consistently delicious and hot upon arrival, some customers have noted that brunch prices may feel high given the portion sizes and the quick return of hunger.
Service has received mixed reviews, with some recent experiences indicating that the staff may struggle during busy periods. A recent visit highlighted that a bike fundraiser led to a shortage of servers, affecting service quality. However, on a quieter Sunday, a guest enjoyed friendly service and appreciated the large mussels and rosemary focaccia bread. There were some requests for items that usually come automatically, such as bread with the mussels and fresh ground pepper for a Caesar salad. Despite these issues, the food continues to be worth returning for. The beer garden offers a self-service experience, with beautiful grounds and views of Sugarloaf Mountain. Guests can enjoy outdoor seating, fire pits, and cornhole. Overall, The Comus Inn remains a popular choice for its tasty menu and inviting atmosphere, although guests have suggested hiring more staff to enhance the experience.
