We went here for dinner on a Sunday, it wasn't busy, we arrived a little early for our reservation, but would have been okay without one. We were greeted and seated once they had our table ready. It was noticeably brightly lit in here. It was still daytime and it was bright this became even more evident after the sun went down. I'm not a fan of eating in the dark, but I also don't want to feel like I'm in the operating room. Server was very friendly and we decided on two glasses of wine, Chablis mussels and rosemary focaccia bread to start. All were very nice. The mussels were large and only a couple remained closed; however, those should always be removed before serving - as they should not be eaten. The bread was very good, came with a side of butter that had some sweetness to it. For the main event we opted for cashew chicken salad which featured an interesting gochujang vinaigrette and the Wagyu hanger steak with a side Caesar. The food was very nice the cashew chicken was so lightly dressed that we requested more dressing. We did have to ask for a few things that normally you would not have to ask for: bread with the mussels (never seen it server before without bread or frites), ketchup, and fresh ground pepper for the Caesar. Those are usually just automatic. The food was good, the views are really nice, it's all clean and country chic - if a little over illuminated. They also have an outdoor beer garden with the same nice views, tables, fire pits, cornhole, etc.

Nice biergarten with plenty of space to enjoy a quick bite. The view has a tremendous beautiful view of the mountain and a dog-friendly place.

New ownership. The waitress made the three mistakes sound like our fault. Disappointing

Wow has this place gone downhill! We love it every fall for our annual family get together, but today we found out it was sold 18 mos ago. Too bad the new owners didn’t get the chefs recipes. The chicken on the salad was so dry it was hard to chew. The bread on the belt was awful- they used to have great bread! The crab melt was not lump crabmeat it was not good.
The danish in the pastry basket was cold and stale. The bacon & pancakes were good! Service was horrible… waitress was mean. “Are you ready to order or not? “She never came back to the table after we were served by runners… never! We will not be back

We were there a couple of weekends ago, had reservations, and the service was incredibly slow. We didn't even have a waiter. The bartender was the one taking our orders while the tables around us had waiters. It was strange. Got annoyed when people seated well after us were getting their food way before us. The food was just OK. I used to go these many years ago when it was a totally different vibe and a lot nicer. Now with all the outdoor stuff, strange ice cream stand at the front of the restaurant, screaming kids running around etc...it seems dirty and cheap.

Went to the beer garden. It's pretty much self service. Order drinks and food inside. They will give you a number and bring your food orders. The grounds are laid out and taken care of beautifully. Sit around the pond for a wonderful experience and view of Sugarloaf Mountain. I thoughly enjoyed the BLTA. Loved the farm fresh ingredients. Well worth the drive.

This is a great outdoor/indoor venue with lots of seating space to enjoy nature and good company. The food I got - chicken tenders and fries, was a little too salty for my liking, but the onion rings were nice and plentiful for the price too!

Deborah was a fabulous server. There were six of us for a birthday celebration and kindly and calmly kept everything going smoothly. Thank you, Deborah!

Food was passible, terribly slow, great view, & tons of bugs. Dog friendly outside.

Went to the beer garden on a Friday at the tail end of summer. Plenty of seating even though it was busy, surrounded by gnats everywhere. The food (standard bar fare) was... fine. Not good or bad but be prepared to wait a terribly long time for it to come out. Great view but, again, you're surrounded by swarming bugs everywhere.

Don't know what they can do about the bugs but that and the wait means I wouldn't come back or recommend to others.

Such a sweet place! The service from everyone was really attentive, friendly and great. It’s lovely to see kids having a bit of space to run around out in the back lawn area. Such good vibes all around for the family. Can’t wait to come back and bring some friends too. The view of sugarloaf as the sun is setting can’t be beat either!

My wife had a good rainbow trout. I had an overcooked, dry”Irish” salmon on awful risotto. Desert was very good. Dining room was very loud so conversation was difficult.
