kinda the only game in town. For people biking the C & O. Subs are good. Service OK. No Frills. Expect to pat for water.

Just a burger and breakfast place where the ferry once ran and will run again some day. Basic menu but food nicely done. A little short on staff when I was there but they have to make ends meet and you don't come here when you are in a big rush in any event.

One of the place I go to because of the quality of the food and the excellent hospitality of all staff. Good river view, good food, and best place to relax and enjoy the view. Excellent store. Please come to enjoy the cook skill. Good

Stopped by White’s Ferry Grill & Store and was pleasantly surprised!
The food was really good, fresh, flavorful, and definitely better than what you’d expect for a small spot by the ferry. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere had that casual, welcoming vibe that makes you feel comfortable right away.
The little store is a nice bonus too, perfect for grabbing drinks, snacks, or small essentials.
We were sad to see that the ferry itself wasn’t operating. It’s such a unique part of local history, and we truly hope one day the landowners on the other side of the Potomac can come to an agreement to keep this piece of history alive.
Overall, a great local stop with good food and good people. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.

We enjoyed the Reuben Sandwich and Burger. They were very good. The French fries were crispy and hot. Sat outside looking over the Potomac river.

Perfect for what it is, rural store and grill right off the C&O Canal and the White's Ferry landing, which hopefully will run again some day. Ferry Burger was excellent! Even the lettuce and tomatoes on it were very fresh.
Good old fashion deli style food and a perfect stopping point if you are on the trail. Bathrooms could use some work.
Shockingly fair prices, good food and generous staff!

What a great little stop on the C&O canal towpath. I had the breakfast wrap which was hot and tasty. Sat outside on the patio, with the view of the ferry (although apparently it hasn't been in use in 4 years) and watched a few guys fish. Top notch and friendly service! Pretty good selection of drinks and other items in the store as well.
Just what I needed after a long day riding on the C&O. A must stop for those travelling between DC and Harper's Ferry
Thank u ladies for making the best subs i ever had. loved the toasted roll. And good quantity ,of meat on sub.It was so good ..i I ate the half sub. Never have i ate that [email protected] ,and potato salad. was so good. loved it ..and we sat outside at the tables ,and enjoyed it .We biked 26 miles that day. That was a refreshing stop along the way.
Always a treat to make the long scenic drive and have a fat “Big Al” Burger over here. Beautiful views and always good service. Been visiting for years and couldn’t recommend it more. Cold beers! River crossing might open in the near future. Meaning that it will inevitably overcrowd the area. So visit and enjoy it as it is now!
Came tonight at 5:30 pm.I was told Grill was closed. Been going to Whites Ferry store for thirty years. First time ever grilled closed at 5:30!!!
