“This is just a really tiny little bar ... doesn't seem to be much happening, although that was my first visit before the night life began. I would like to see what the nightlife is like there. I tend to follow my friends around and don't really care for overcrowded bars. one thing's for sure they serve up some cold beers.”

“Marta manages to be both lively and cozy simultaneously in a rowhouse that previously housed Salt (one of my all time favorite upscale restaurants) We went for a friend's birthday, and all 3 courses were delicious, beautifully presented, inventive, and not the same old menu that you find everywhere. Very sweet wait staff was super attentive, educated about the food and wine and made great suggestions. Our original wait staff had an emergency and had to leave in the middle of service, but seamlessly another wait person stepped in to covered us. Kudos to the front of house team for handling with such skill and ease. But the food was definitely the star of the show. For me, the standout was the tuna cannoli. I'm not even sure I can do justice to this deliciousness with a crunchy outer "cannoli" shell with a slight hint of sweet surrounding a creamy center of tuna crudi with little dots of avocado cream. And all was covered with a pistachio "dust." The spicy meatballs were delectable nestled in a cloud of creamy spicy ricotta. And the Duck and Foie Gras Panzotti (little triangle ravioli) was creamy, delicious and the perfect combination of delicate tastes. And the Tiramisu Affogato ended the dinner on a delicious note! And for two people with drinks it was really pretty a good deal for the quality if the food, service and location. We will be back! Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5”

“This is the best grilled cheese I have ever had in my life! It's truffle and bacon. The salted caramel latte is very sweet (which is how I like coffee). The vibe is very cozy/boho, and really cute. It is a little loud in here.”

“Usually have to get here early to get your hands on a pastry so was delighted to pull it off. Coffee is Ceremony, so that was yummy. The pastries are always interesting combinations of flavors I would never normally think of so their menu is always fun to look over.

Had a s’mores cookie on the spot and a crepe brûlée tart for later. Both were delicious! Tried The crab sando too; I wish had a little more of the sandwich filling to balance the bread but was still tasty.”

“This place has a great vibe, and I’ve never had a bad meal here. I like to pressure the servers to suggest new items to me and they are good sports about it, despite that being a huge pain for them!

“Been meaning to shout this place out for a while. But Otoman HALAL SPOT has got to be the best halal food in the county, and easily some of the best I’ve ever had. I eat there multiple times a week. For the vegans/vegetarians, their falafel is the best I’ve had. Their portions are incredible, and they even have non-halal food for those who like sandwiches / burritos / desert.”

“Yesterday was my first visit to Corner Juice Bar, and I absolutely loved it! I ordered a fresh wheatgrass shot—it was both affordable and made to perfection. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming, making the experience even better. The decor has a nostalgic charm that took me right back to my childhood—especially the mini piano and gold telephone. “We come to eat at the Rosedale location maybe once a month. Even on long waits when we are extra hungry, we always request Draven because he is a rockstar! Our drinks are never empty and requests such as extra napkins, gloves, bibs etc are always met expeditiously. We never have to wait long for food and it is always fresh and hot. Our family are creatures of habit and we typically get the same thing every time. Let’s start with the clam chowder. A generous bowl with a heaping portion of clam. We especially enjoy the crackers on the side for our picky toddler to nibble on. For dinner I always get the Cajun boil with the hook n reel blend *spicy* with sausage and hard boiled eggs as an add on. I like to get a 20 oz. draft ipa. It pairs very well with the spiciness of the boil. Our toddler usually ends up with tenders and sweet potato waffle fries. Recently she has started to eat broccoli (hallelujah!) so we get that on the side as well. For a family of 3, we spend around $130. If you request Draven, please expect to be amazed by the service and expect to tip at LEAST 20% for impeccable service. For those bad at math, 20% of $130 is $26, which I like to bump up to $30. Sorry this was so long! If you got this far, enjoy your dinner at Hook n Reel in Rosedale. We always do!”

“I hosted a surprise 30th birthday for my husband at HYC last night. Everyone I dealt with from the moment I reached out to inquire about hosting an event there up until the end of the event last night were fantastic. I ordered food from the catering menu and everyone in attendance commented on how great the food was. Our bartender and server were great as well and I was checked on several times to make sure that everything was going well. We had a great time with great food and drinks and I would highly recommend hosting an event here!”

“The is a true local gem. The bar is decorated in a 1970’s theme. They offer old timey beers like Stroh’s and Schaefer as well as inventive cocktails. The menu consists of unique pizzas, sandwiches and salads. Their wings are tender, tasty and delicious. The bar has a pub like quality and the clientele is friendly and welcoming. The Dive is a wonderful new addition to the neighborhood”

“🥰 MR. AMIR and his family are absolutely lovely people. This is a family run business in the heart of Baltimore social life, between Inner Harbor, Harbor East and Fells Point (more to Fells Point side). It is our favorite Indian restaurant in Baltimore by far. My husband and I really enjoy their lunch buffets, they service freshly made food and have a variety of options. The lunch buffet has Indian salads, sometimes vegetable samosas, at least a few different meat entrees, at least a few different vegetable entrees, dessert, and always hot chai tea with sugar options. My husband and I enjoy going to not only eat the food, but also appreciate how friendly and hospitable Amir and his family are. They also have respectful staff, and run a very peaceful operation. We appreciate every visit, and when we leave, we feel like we have gained 5 pounds each (in a good way!). Looking forward to our next visit :) Thank you Mr. Amir and family!”

“My husband and I made a wrong turn a few weeks back and happened to see this place called blendabowl. The following wk we decided to try them out and we are completely addicted!! The quality in the taste and freshness of the bowl we get exceeded our expectations. We get blue crush with shaved almonds granola blueberries bananas and Nutella def a must try😋 The place is always clean and the staff is excellent as well as management!! Enrique definitely runs a great establishment and if you have never tried blendabowl you are missing out.
