“Our 'Sip and See' (Welcoming our new grandson) event was fabulous. Our servers, Patty and Jackie were magnificent, making myself and all of my guests feel not only welcome and comfortable but very special.
Everything was so smooth and accommodating from arrival to set up, (so particular and they know what they were doing!), to running the event to breaking down, clean up and departure.
The service was superb, I can’t speak highly enough of them. Compliments to the Chef as well- EVERYONE raved about the food.
Thank you for making my event such a wonderful success.

“DO NOT buy any crabs from them. I paid $60 for medium crabs and they were all HOLLOW. I called so they rectify the matter and the black guy that works there hung up on me! Can you believe that craziness? Telling me that it was my problem and they can't control it! He told me that he would not be doing anything and he didn't care if they lost the customer. I will be leaving negative feedback on every media outlet that I can, He was very unprofessional to no only hang up on a customer who who is trying to understand why the $25 small crabs had more meat in them than the $60 medium crabs, but to say he didn't care if they lost me as a customer. Every leg that I pulled out of these crabs I could see straight through the shell. I will never go here again and will not recommend them to anyone!“

“Zeffert and Gold were amazing from start to finish. Lisa, specifically, was so helpful and accommodating. She answered all of our questions promptly, and helped soothe my anxiety. The all-inclusive pricing was very fair considering all that was included. We looked at other catering options, and there was a lot that Zeffert and Gold offered that other caterers did not. The food was so good, and our wedding guests couldn’t stop talking about it. Sarah also was very attentive on our wedding day, and was always available to bring us food and drinks. I would highly recommend Zeffert and Gold to anyone having a party.“

“What a fantastic little place, and I’d never have found it if local family hadn’t suggested having lunch here. The pit turkey sandwich was so delicious, you’ll be hard put to find better than this. Plenty of nice and super clean seating upstairs, great experience all around. Definitely not my last time eating here.“

“I went to a graduation party on Sunday and Xquisite catered the event. Everything was so good. The potato salad, fried chicken, meatballs, green beans was so amazing. I came into work with it still on my mind so I had to give them a five star review!

“1000/10!! I booked BricknFire Pizza Co. for my sister’s bridal shower, and it was everything I’d hoped for and more! The display and pizza were incredible, and all the guests we had with a gluten allergy (including myself) were so impressed with the quality of the gluten free crust! It’s very hard to find a gf pizza that matches the taste and texture of a regular pizza, and they nailed it!! I cannot say enough about the service provided by the young men who worked the day of. They were prompt, organized, polite, professional and just generally amazing. Upon arrival of one of the co-hosts for our party, one of the gentleman with the company even assisted with unloading her car and carrying in a boxes of supplies into the house. The service beyond exceeded my expectations and the Bride-to-be was so happy!! This was an absolutely astounding service from the initial inquiry/booking to the departure of the crew, I will make sure to recommend you all to anyone I know looking for catering!“

“We got married on Friday, December 13th 2024 at The Cloisters Castle and we could not be more pleased with our decision to hire Putting on the Ritz as our caterer. They were heavily involved from the early planning stages until the event to make sure all our needs were met and to make sure our event went off with no issues. We had a ton of compliments around how good the food was, and we were just super happy with everything. I highly recommend splurging a little extra for the hot chocolate/cider bar, especially if you're getting married in the colder months - this was the highlight of the event! They even accommodated my special cocktail request. We just loved working with them and they were amazing in every way - no complaints at all, everything went smoothly and the food was delicious!“

“DMV Taqueria food truck is highly recommended! It’s smart to call in your order as they’ve grown in popularity as the word’s gotten out. My neighbor loves their chicken quesadillas. My favorite is the shrimp quesadillas, but honestly, you can’t go wrong with any of the menu items. I understand the churros are a favorite too, though I’ve not personally tried them. The drive home is brutal. The food smells so amazing, I can’t park the car fast enough. 5⭐️“

“Miriame and her team at Chez Yiamme catered my micro-wedding a few months ago and they did an excellent job. Miriame was friendly, accommodating, and professional during the planning stages. She was extremely responsive throughout and had great solutions to ensure the food was delivered safely to our guests. She and her team ended up preparing individual food boxes for our guests to enjoy. And enjoy it they did! We received such positive feedback from everyone about how delicious the food was, how creative the packaging was, and how friendly the staff was. The food really brought joy to everyone. It was a pleasure working with Chez Yiamme and I’m already dreaming up excuses to use their services again in the future. “My family and I have enjoyed Devens Deli for a few decades now. Deven, Hetal and the rest of the staff are absolutely amazing people who make amazing food. When my family comes to town and I tell them I know where to get the best shrimp salad sandwich, they go back to Virginia knowing the place to go is Devens Deli. The Soft shell crab sandwich is awesome and a good price, as is the fantastic crab cakes (which can give any of those “4 star restaurants” a run for their money) 🦀👍. Hetal makes THE BEST chocolate eggs around the Easter season and my son and I made it a tradition to get them every year!! “I would’t say this is the best coffee in Baltimore, but damn. I am so impressed with the work ethic and authenticity of this place. I went with a friend of mine from work (hospitality), and there was only one person working the shop. It wasn’t busy by any means, but she was taking orders, making drinks, and cooking the food. Nothing came out of wrappers or cans. It was a sight to behold. She took our order, crafted our drinks, made pleasant conversation with the next customer waiting for their order to be taken (until she could return to take it), handed us our drinks, took the next person’s order, started making our food, made another drink, took another order, finished up our food, made another drink, etc. Her pace and attitude was enviable, and I found myself respecting her quite a bit. Would go again.“

“Found them on the corner at the Fell's Point Farmer's Market. I was pleasantly surprised. Little bit pricey, and that might put some people off. But if you dare to try it, you will not regret it. Plus, I wanted to try both proteins so that was an upcharge, too. The bed of coconut basmati rice and beans (peas in the Caribbean?) is an excellent foundation for what you want to build on top. Vegetarians celebrate! But Carnivores will he equally as happy. I tried the jerk sweet potatoes, curry cauliflower, jerk chicken, AND jerk shrimp. It was delicious! Oh, and Sunny (?) was an asset the. Her name matches her personality. She highly recommended the pickled red cabbage on top, and I am SO glad she did! I don't think the bowl would have been complete without it! The shrimp isn't jumbo shrimp, but the size you want so that it's already bite-size. It was perfectly cooked. The chicken was also bite-size and so tender and moist. I love cauliflower, and this did not disappoint. The sweet potato was a touch softer than I would normally choose, but it was nicely caramelized, and added to a truly deliciously composed dish. Oh, let's not forget about the Plant Based Lemon Raspberry Muffins. Let me just say it was delicious. Loved the light glaze on top. Again, a bit pricey for the size of it. And \\\"plant based?\\\" Using flour (AP they said) is a plant, but then aren't muffins generally plant based? Do they not use eggs? I neglected to ask, but it was tasty. Just too expensive for the barely-larger-than-mini-muffin-size muffins. Last thing I wanted to mention is the to-go containers. I would have rather they used more environmentally-friendly containers maybe of cardboard. But this plastic container was relatively leak proof (though there's really not much liquid to worry about leaking), and I'll be sure to re-use it. I met the chef and another salesperson. While I can't recall their names, they were both friendly and informative. From an old TV cereal commercial, \\\"TRY IT, YOU'LL LIKE IT!\\\"“
