While I don't have breakfast frequently, being in a hotel without one included, I decided to look around for a good place for breakfast. Could have easily gone to a big chain, but I wanted to support some local. I happened to find this little diner on US 1. After getting turned around a couple times, I found this diner. The atmosphere is about what you expect for a small diner; nothing fancy but it works. Other than a couple of the stools needing their cushions replaced, nothing to complain about.Could have had scrapple again, but I went with something a little safer. I had the French toast with bacon and added two over-easy eggs to that. The French toast was nice and fluffy and the right amount of cinnamon and powdered sugar. The bacon was nice and crispy and not burned and the eggs had the delightfully runny yolk for a fried over-easy egg.The staff at the diner was very cheerful and friendly and were happy to be there. They do lunch, too, so if you're a little late for breakfast, they do sandwiches, too.If you're looking for a place that isn't fancy and does the basics just right, definitely give Elkridge Deli Cafe a visit.

I placed a pick-up order for eggs benedict platter well done, and it was ready in about 12 minutes. Great customer service, and the place was nice and clean. The cashier was very friendly!

Lady who takes your order most of time, was very rude to me. Not everyone can leave a tip, especially when she is very rude every time I come in! She has never been any kind of nice! So I order food on January 11, 2024, she says you can take to go, I don't want to serve you, because you never leave a tip, which I have, just not every time I went in!! Shouldn't expect a tip every time! And she made sure she was heard!!!! Didn't matter whether anyone heard her or not!!!! Won't get my service after today!!!!

If your on a diet and don’t mind paying full price for tiny portions than this place is for you! Got the 10.99 lunch wrap and it was all tortilla with two little pieces of Turkey barely any veggies when I asked for extra veggies. Wrap was good, but the portion size was appropriate for a 1st grader. Recommend using this spot to feed your kids.Kid-friendliness: Portion sizes are small and perfect for kids.

One of the best breakfast places in the area hands down. Omelettes are excellent and Korean style. Hash browns are crisp and full of flavor. Lady at the counter is extremely nice. Place decor is outdated but kept sparkling clean. There is a real pride in the business owners here. A+ ?

I wanted to support a small local business for lunch and was hoping for this place to be so much more and better than it was. By the time you get a sandwich and a salad, you’re $20 in.The side garden for $6.99 should be more like $2.99 if even. The Club sandwich (which comes with no side like fries or anything) was rather bland. It’s as if the deli meat used is just the cheap pre-packaged Wal-Mart brand. Better ingredients, better sandwiches. They’re clearly using the cheap, low quality ingredients while charging $11.00+ for sandwiches. This place could kill it if their food was flavorful and of good value. These are the ones where you just stick to Panera next time. The woman taking orders seems rather uninterested in any sort of customer service as well. Seems to care less about anyone or anything and rather just writes down orders and calls out to next patron. Weird.Atmosphere is old and cramped.Spent way too much there for low quality, poor value food.

Seriously, if I wanted surly, rude and grouchy in the morning... I would have stayed married!!! LOL I walked I at 11:30 AM and said I wanted breakfast. The lady abruptly says "Breakfast over, lunch now!" I look at the special board and ask for a BLT... Then look back and see the grill cook plating a half dozen sunnyside up eggs, with sausage, bacon, toast. Exactly what I came in for!!! I just laughed at the ridiculousness of such shitty service and left!

The food was decent. Taken back by the extra charges, I ordered a breakfast platter and asked for no eggs, and I wanted onions in my home fries, up-charge(even though I didn't get eggs). Then I was charged for the carry-out tray total turn-off. Not sure if I would eat here again.

Just left from eating at this establishment. I can say the place is clean and the food was ok. Nothing special but filling and cooked right. My complaint is mainly the staff. Based on other reviews the sweet old lady behind the counter is considered sweet but with my experience from about 30 minutes ago she lacked manners. Walking in my fiancé and I both said hello with a smile. The “sweet older woman” didn’t say a word and walked past us. Neither did the cooks or other staff who did look to see who was walking in. In addition she and another customer after us had a disagreement about sodas being added to order. She was rude and the lady left without saying anything. As we ate our food for the next 10-15 minutes all we could hear is her talking behind this ladies back to her staff. The only person I saw her being extremely friendly with was a white gentleman who came in third. I am African American and the lady she had a back and forth with was Indian. No one wants to walk in feeling like they aren’t welcomed and leave feeling worse. Her good behavior to the white patron was clearly noticeable. My fiancé and I said all of our please and thank yous and left feeling like she didn’t really want to serve us but we were buying so she had to deal with us. First and last time visiting here because were I spend my money I like to feel comfortable and customer experience is everything not just the food. I work in the restaurant industry as a GM and I can say that behavior wouldn’t be tolerated anywhere I work.

There was no line when I arrived and I was attended to quickly. I ordered the turkey sausage, egg and cheese on croissant. It took about 6 mins to get my meal from the time of order. Staff was friendly.
