We enjoyed a lovely brunch here on a beautiful Fall day. We loved the historic building and the lovely treed grounds surrounding it. The food was outstanding and the service was exceptional. Highly recommend!
Locally sourced ingredients, historic and picturesque location, food that is consistently and expertly prepared, combined with enthusiastic, courteous, and knowledgeable staff. Chef Dan and his team never disappoint!

Fantastic place. Been there for two weddings. You will not find a better venue within 1000 miles. Service is unbelievable. You hear people say about other places that the wedding was beautiful but Food was just okay. EFI Food never disappoints.

We chose Elkridge Furnace Inn to celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary last night and are so glad we did! From the moment we set foot on the romantically-lit path winding toward the beautifully-preserved historic buildings we knew this was going to be a special night. As we approached the entrance, we were greeted warmly by a staff member and escorted into the building and upstairs to our table. Everyone we encountered made sure to ask us if we were celebrating a special occasion and wished us a happy anniversary. Our table was set in a lovely room and our friendly and professional server, Tony, arrived immediately, introduced himself and very sweetly brought us a complimentary champagne toast to celebrate the occasion. Tony was very helpful in describing and recommending dishes and we thoroughly enjoyed everything from Chef Dan's signature Cream of Baltimore soup and the duck confit egg rolls to my roasted pork tenderloin topped with bourbon peaches and pork bourdelaise and hubby's Supreme of Pheasant with an outstanding mushroom cream sauce. And everything paired perfectly with our tasty Paul Hobbs Crossbarn pilot noir. And, last but not least, the gorgeous chocolate mousse with Chambord creme and the limoncello ricotta cake were the perfect ending to a delightful dinner. Chef Dan Wecker even stopped by our table to make sure we were having a wonderful experience and to offer us best wishes. Thank you to everyone who helped us feel special last night, we will definitely return and will recommend Furnace Inn to all of our family and friends!

We used to live in Baltimore and retired to North Carolina. We were glad to visit Baltimore again so we could come to Elkridge Furnace Inn. It is one of our favorite places to eat. Excellent service and the food is amazing. Chef Dan always comes through with tasty meals. He makes one of the best crab cakes in town. And the vegetables are right out of their garden.
Elkridge Furnace Inn knocked it out of the park for this special dinner out with my mom! Thank you for making us feel so welcome. Lovely drinks, setting, and food! Hope to see this business grow and expand. Would love to see the business open a bar on the property!

We have enjoyed dinner service here before and this time we were gifted the course dinner. The hosts, service, salad course, and dessert were absolutely wonderful! The rest of the meal wasn't did not meet expectations (e.g, the stuffed tomato didn't have much flavor other than being overly acidic, the ham was dry and overcooked). We did not enjoy the Maryland tour course dinner but perhaps it was not the menu for our pallet. Again, the hosts and service were wonderful. The dessert was delicious!! And the pickled peaches - I would eat them by the jar! I also want to note, that we had to substitute a meal due to dietary restrictions and the kitchen was very quick to do so - thank you for that!

Absolutely delicious brunch. Three is us ordered andouille sausage omelet, seafood crepe and shrimp and grits-all delicious. Bottomless bloody Mary's and mimosas were fab, as were the buckwheat muffins with butter and jam to start. Service with Audrey was great, but slow due to large group having tea. EFI is definitely a lovely spot for brunch -or any meal.
